Doyle, I was having lunch with my family at Old Hampton BBQ in Linville NC on Saturday, and a nice guy from Jacksonville a conversation with me and my son. We started talking about music, and he insisted I check out your Sunday String Along. Can't remember his name, sadly, but he said he was a friend of yours and I would not be disappointed. I wanted to THANK YOU for sharing not only your incredible talent on the guitar, but also for sharing His word in such a way! Keep up the great work. Look forward to the next one! Every guitar player has a guitar hero. Doyle is mine. I first met him in the ‘90’s at a church in Oakley, Ca. He put on a beautiful concert and it was evident to me that he loved the Lord. Not just words but actions showed his heart. Over the years I’ve seen in music stores, at NAMM in 2020. He turned me on to acrylic nails and his custom “ speed” pick and revived my picking style. I’ll never be as good as Doyle, but it doesn’t matter. He gave me back my love for guitar. Thank you, Doyle and may God continue to bless you.😎🙏🏻🖖🏻✝️🎸😍

He's had me create some wonderful things, but for whatever His reasoning, it's mostly been between me and the Lord as it seems He's kept me hidden. Coming to grips with that took a while - but the years have taught me I would have hated recognition and fame. Still, there remains a question about what He's inspired me to create - was it just for His good pleasure - a latter day Enoch - or since we're about the same age, is He planning to send me out with a bang?
