Omg this happened to me I forst wanted to make sure I was able to make the squares look neat bc it’s my forst project and then they stopped producing the green colour 😭 had to switch to red bc all the other greens from this yarn were so ugly… not I have to re-crochet all those final rounds of my green squares…

So how many grannies include pockets you make? I count for a cardigan only, need 54 grannies

@@kadekherda7 i made a xl cardigan so more than in the video. I take super fine wool...yes, that was not so clever. So my grannys are smaler than in the video. I needed 80 grannys, 2 for the pockets extra. But in a smaler size, with thicker whol like kristen has, you will need maybe 60 i gues:)

Thank you! 🥰 I would go with the approach of adding extra row or two of green for each square, so we can keep the same square count. Try doing DC on top of each stitch and in the corners for 3DC, 3 ch, 3DC :)

I’m working on this cardigan right now to be able to have it to the Taylor Swift concert, but how many stitches do you do for the ribbing on the sleeves, bottom and inner part? Really love this pattern!!😍

Thank you! 🥰 Bottom ribbing is the same width as cuffs, while inner ribbing is a bit thinner. In terms of length, I just made them quite long and attached without cutting the yarn off completely to make sure I can still add or remove some rows just in case if needed 😊 (I hope that makes sense 😅) And have fun at the concert!! 😍

Hi! do you have any tips when using a different type of yarn? We only have indophil yarn in our area sadly, it’s thinner so the granny square are about to come out smaller than regular ones

Any yarn works as long as it requires 5 mm crochet hook, or if the squares turns out smaller, add extra rounds to create them bigger. I didn't count specifically. I just made it until it's quite long and attached as I went basically. As a ribbing it will be a bit stretched. If it turns out too short, add extra rows and if it's too long, just remove them. :)

Obrigado! ❤ (I absolutely loved my time in Portugal this year!) The terms 8/4 and 8/8 indicate the thickness and length of cotton yarn. The number in front of the hyphen indicates the thickness of the cotton that the yarn is made of, whereas the number after the hyphen indicates how many strands/ply - or yarn fibres - the yarn is spun from.
