Thanks for the info! Guess I'll have to setup a flood tray and give this way a go! I forget and when I remember about the microgreens it's too late lol.

SO much great content on your channel! I've been growing for almost a year and your info is absolutely top notch. Imagine that: one of the best microgreens channels that's not trying to sell something to growers! (Although you TOTALLY could!)

Thanks so much! I don't really buy into the master growers courses and such. Primarily because I'm constantly figuring out that whatever I was doing 6mo ago isn't working now. So, how could I ask someone to pay for that? We do sell the flats, but I don't go crazy with that promoting. Thank you for noticing, and thank you for watching!

How do you deal with the seed hulls?

We wash our greens, a lot come off then. After we manually remove what is left before packaging for sale. It's not bad. I have also found that when you think they should come out of germination, leave the weighted tray on top for one more day, and a lot of the hulls naturally fall off. Hulls sticking is also very seed crop dependent. I always get samples before buying a large amount to test for taste, leas and stem size, germination, mold, and hull fall off. Thanks for watching!
