Bangladesh Village Life: Everyday life in Ekduaria Village is different and this morning we visited a local village school and had breakfast at our homestay.
Visiting Ekduaria High School was interesting and insightful to understand the education system not only in Bangladesh but also in a local village. The principal was incredibly welcoming and proud for us to meet his students and he also showed us the roof garden with all the amazing fruits and vegetables he has grown.
We started our day with a delicious breakfast that set us up nicely for a busy day experiencing Bangladesh Village Life.

I was born and brought up in Bangladesh but currently living in the UK. So far I miss my country actually the food and weather. I don't like UKs weather anymore always rainy and foggy. It’s so nice to see travellers like yourselves coming out of your comfort zones to get stuck into the village way of life and experiences which is miles away from the lifestyle in the England. Please guys could I suggest you try snacks like the sweet paratha with traditional Bengali doodh cha (milk tea) dip the paratha into the tea trust me it tastes absolutely delicious, PRAN tomato crisps (the shiny green & red packet), Bengali mishti’s (sweeets) such as golab jam and rossagula etc. It warmed our hearts when you visited the schools to meet with the teachers and school kids, it’s great to see the kids are learning English aswell as Bangla. Also the drone shots were amazing 😀 keep going guys and much love from Sylhet.

Wow!!! What a deeper experience of village life of Bangladesh by adding the trip to the school ! It doesn't get more intimate than that! What an experience! I feel bad for the school kids in Dhaka and other cities of Bangladesh, especially Dhaka, where they are cooped up in buildings, traffic jammed streets and lost in noise and crowds. They don't get to play in fields, see greenery, pick fruits fresh from trees or vegetables from vines, or swim in lakes and ponds, go fishing; Bangladesh city kids have so very little access to nature and outdoor activities... I wonder what psychological toll it takes on one growing up in unhealthy, unwholesome cities like Dhaka. May God help them to change their city environments for the better.

a typical village life.the last time I experienced one is about two decades ago.what i missed most is bringing my son on a pre school and preparing breakfast or lunch by just roaming around your neighborhood and ask permission if you could pick some of vegetables that is growing in their back yard.same as you experiencing right now.it's peaceful.it's quite.it's simple.inhaling fresh air.and lots of shades.kids playing traditional games instead of e-games and many more.

Wow ...wow ...wow..what a beautiful village....remind me of my childhood....the hard works in the paddy field..everything is done manually....everyone helping each other in a community.. .in a piece of land you will see 20 to 30 people working together .i missed those moments .. The togetherness,the sharing,the caring...but nowadays everything is replaced by the machine...a machine is doing all the jos......you guys are more than celebrities..the locals are very shy....obviously very polite...tq guys ....for taking your time visiting us in Asia...
