They decided to finish it and add it to the end of the new live in studio recording of their seminal first album diary that just came out this month.

Highly impressive and very lucky to be in the days of a new chapter in SDRE. Saw them in august in new haven, phenomenal, i was in an awe i dont experience at shows. Got tix to see em again in May, they're very much worth it if anyone is curious..they made that small venue feel bigger than Blink at MSG & FOB at Forest Hills Stadium, with ease.

I ask because it has the edges of a Nate bassline but the darkness and melody of what Jeff Palmer did. As a bass player I’d love to know if he adjusted something that was already there or if he truly threaded the needle and wrote a bassline that captured both eras. Huge kudos my friend, and, at the danger over "over thinking it" as my amazing wife like to remind me I do about everything, thank you for "sacrificing" the "tangible" piece of art for the greater good making this video not so much of a "music video" as much as it with all the parts becoming a whole, A thought provoking and awe inspiring piece of artistic visual media / art. The Huntington show had Incredible lighting makes me believe the song played live with this projected behind the band or on the screens plus with the flashes through the venue matching the strikes in this would be an amazing immersive experience.
