Which of these signs do you recognize yourself in now or have had in the past?👇

Yes, it really seems clutter attacks us from every direction, so I felt inspired by you, too, taking a fight with it, every now and again - let's think about clutter as leaves that fall every autumn, and they have to be dealt with, one never wins over them, once and for all - but leaves can become compost and make way for new phases of life... something like that... not an enemy...

Here’s what I really like about your videos: You are constantly rethinking, reimagining minimalism and coming up with new ways of thinking about how to improve on your life. With so many channels people seem to think that there is only one type of minimalist living and soon run out of ideas on the subject.-I do carpentry and wood working and am constantly imagining different and better ways of thinking and improving what I do. Whatever one’s pursuit, it has to be a continuous learning experience as you have shown with minimalism. This keeps me amazed at how well you do this.

Yeah it seems like the more I go into this topic, the more there is to know and explore. It's not all so black and white as I used to think 😉 Thank you! ❤️

I'm enjoying your channel - your voice, the aesthetic, and the content of your videos are so calming and full of wisdom (simple but wise). For the past 2-3 years I've been watching various minimalist videos, but wasn't sure if it was just a temporary fad/feeling I was having. I've spent some time trying to tidy things but not making much lasting progress. I found your channel and have been drawn in and watching for a few months; after watching this particular, I know this isn't just some passing feeling - I am longing for simplicity. I just ordered your course for myself for Christmas so I can make the best of what's left in 2024 and be off to a good start in 2025. I'm working on my word/phrase for the year now. Thank you and peace to you!

I'm 72, retired 6 months ago, Seve. The first week of retirement, I moved about 30 items from my closet to a closed basket. Never even looked at these items in 6 months. In the past 2 years, lost 45 pounds. So most of these clothes swallow me. Still have 20 more pounds to lose. Ready to get rid of more items, but will just move them to the same basket. Bought two pairs of pants + 2 tshirts that fit well, what a great feeling. Been going to the park or gym almost every day since leaving my sedentary job as a software developer for 44 years. I now have visible muscles and lots of energy, alertness, and an improved attitude and mindset. Cleaned the garage, did a lot of yard work. More to do, but there's time. Time to breathe. Feels great to unload the stress of my work, the extra stuff I no longer use or need. I started with clearing out my non-essential belongings before noticing your YT channel. Discovered the channel yesterday and really into it! So today, I subscribed after watching about a dozen episodes yesterday. I agree with almost everything I've seen. Not saying this lightly. Appreciating your meticulous details plus info about Finland. I already knew a bit about Finland and think it's a beautiful country. Studied a bit of the language and culture. Thanks for having very enjoyable and useful content!

Oehh I liked point eleven! Completely recognize myself in this point. We emigrated from the Netherlands to Sweden 2 years ago with only a trailer to move the most important stuff with us. We sold and donated most of our stuff and the things we brought with us were mostly from our three kids 😂 we now live a more simple and slow life. Your content feels so close to my situation, I love it!

Today is Thanksgiving Day in the USA. I am thankful about my progress in my life journey of minimalism and simplicity but sadly many Americans are obsessed with accumulating things, bigger houses, bigger cars, and so on which do not bring long lasting contentment. Bless you, Seve, for all you do.

Thank you for sharing, Joseph, I'm sure you have more courage, stamina, and common sense than the average American then! 🙂 So do proudly keep it up, as new trends always start with a trickle. Now, with hard economic prospects in view, you will be happy for having trained and being prepared, I think. All the best wishes for you and your country in the long run, and hopefully your good example will be helpful for others. Take care!

This video is so lovable and smart, too, it is simply great! I directly watched it twice! 🙂 I live in Sweden, and I feel it must be more than a coincidence that it reaches me from Finland, the happiest country of all! It has beautiful glimpses of the Finnish nature, and of an uncluttered, very personally made up, cosy home - all very inspiring. As such it shows a frame for living a naturally happy life, so it seems, and a path within reach for most people who watch this video. Like it's giving permission to be a minimalist without redecorating your home, and without going out and by a home full of new stuff, all in nuances of linen and furniture in white paint. Very relaxing as it is. One could even be a minimalist in Frida Kahlo's color-scale! Lovely! And your relaxed and humorous presentation, Seve, make us believe that it might be true, that Finns have found a way to be the happiest nation, though not the richest! This is *gold* actually! 🙂

So refreshing to see a video that isn’t telling us about all the crap we need to buy during the Black Friday sales! I live in the US and it’s absolutely O U T OF C O N T R O L ! If I see one more haul thumbnail I will scream 😱 Thanks for another great video. Every time I watch you I feel relaxed and relieved that I don’t have a house full of crap.
