I would expect ones they fix their paperwork. There is a form they need to fix to be in compliance with the NYSE. The main reason the stock is so heavily shorted is because of an accounting mistake so fixing that plus having a good quarter should see good results

Less than three months ago they put out a statement saying they had raised enough money to operate for another year. Yes the solar industry is turbulent but if you are saying you knew this was coming then you had inside information and shouldnt have been trading the stock. What sunpower did is fraud and very likely there will be arrests soon

no chance, they just got a huge new line of credit and the business has been largely profitable. It's only been their last two quarters that have been bad but interest rates are high and nearly every residential solar system is bought on a loan

The level at which their financial crimes were happening is just now becoming apparent. The whole point of the SEC is to stop things like this. The company posted profits in recent quarters so to be shutter operations at this point makes no sense except for the fact they completely cooked the books. Can't win a rigged game unfortunately

What I dont understand is the $10 share price difference between $spwr and $run when the PE, Margin, EPS are all comparable. The only thing I can think of is that it's been beat into the cellar by short interest. I'm in adding all the time

Yes that and because their financial department didn’t fill out some forms correctly. Although their numbers weren’t bad that type of mistake looks bad so people sell. That’s why I am bullish because it’s an easy mistake to fix. They will hire better people and it’s easy gains

@FourthSeraph hopefully they can work on their margins and profitability. That's what I'm saying about $RUN. They have relatively the same stats, crap EPS, fairly similar revenue. So either RUN is overpriced or SPWR is severely undervalued and heavily shorted.

​@@jangeltvo I think both are actually undervalued. Solar will be such a valuable industry. Even in states with low amounts of sun solar is still cost effective so I think SPWR will be huge. I also own some Enphase Energy and thats gotten me great returns
