Impressive views with an impressive sunset! The layered back drop of mountains from the viewpoints are picturesque. Bet you'll remember this one for a long time! 👍

We did a sunset hike at Cape Henolpen, Del SP out on the great dunes, walking distance from the camp ground. It was cool.

For a large, gorgeous view of the mountains and sunset go to the top of Roan Mountain, short hike from Rhododendrons to the overlook.

I’m curious how difficult the walk down was on this trail in the dark?

Great question, and funny enough, plenty of people were hiking up after the sun had gone down because its a popular spot for star gazing! It gets really dark, so without a headlamp I wouldn't do it, but the views up there are unreal!! Thanks for the great question!!
