Tbh the game is hard to start as a beginner but once you really get into the gameplay, its probably one of the most fun games a person could play Its really fun imo with all the perks

I definitely agree. The beginning is off putting but it gets better from there.

How can it be newcomer focused then objects places strictly is a praise? I don't get what you mean. You can't have dynamic design for some things. XD My issues with Rift Apart are lack of dynamic rifts in a boss fight/worse then Crack in Time's groundwork of 3 stage planet moments aftermath, past, fixing it. Blizar is close 2 states. What do you mean? Story is jokes/padding/dumb fun. Hence gameplay I cared for. Sunset creative, Spiderman PS4 is more generic. Aka Resistance 2 follow industry effect. Cartoony and mature like Conker can work. I get self awareness part. So many are serious & Ratchet crude/lighthearted is there. Sunset is a teen/Gen Y or Mill audience aspects writing game (nerd jokes for example like Ratchet did) 2000s! it tries to be cool & goes eh to fair. Bird part was awkward yes. XD Pikmin 4 its restricted controls you can't turn off/5 in game days limiting mechanics it's slow. Texting scene did throw me of. Ted Price says Skid McMarx is cringe, I can take that over in with the gen/kids. No towers but tower defence is far more exciting. Cough Spiderman. Movement is odd no doubt but terrible come on, but grinding above & below is awesome, it's good enough. Not played the tutorial in a while. Uncharted had odd movement in tutorials I found. Side quests or challenges were just fun. Cosmetics are whatever to me, drip cringe. They are good to get used to the mechanics/core of fhe game. Icons/side content are whatever of open worlds but fair in this game I find. Ratchet games were third person shooters in Insomniac's mind/interviews. XD Knack is platformer mindset, it's old god of war style. Amps to me were better than skill trees, alt fire like Resistance/other shooters but fair perks. Nothing new of shops & upgrades but better than skill tree trends cough Ratchet/Spiderman. Also xx3 like the bolt counter hmm smart I missed that when I played it/forget. Game is not perfect but out of Sunset Overdrive, Gravity Rush, Darksiders 2, Borderlands seires & Recore I always remember (Infamous Second Son recently besides it's issues) and find orher open worlds boring. I agree the girls look less generic or have better voice acting too I find. Song of the Deep (their Meteoidvania/Gamestip published game)/Fuse always get forgotten. Fuse I liked more then All For One in their design, similar games juat that bit different. I hated Sunset Overdrive when it came out XD (what whiplash saying I love it prior, it has fine jokes & it's eh nerd jokes why?) due to the dialogue, something I usually never considered hating in games before, we never sold it even if its really cheap nowadays but yeah it is weird to think about (it felt off, I could take the swearing/profanity off/on setting was nice too which some games did in the PS3/360 era not anymore. But it felt a bit odd to me or further tone then I was so used to/or tone returning to. Again getting used to Ratchet future, Uncharted, many shooters in a mature tone alongside some others like Spare Parts a forgotten digital platformer by EA among other games. But it was just not funny or the crude/sort of odd US humour I wasn't sure of at the time. The parody and references weren't bad just yeah I don't know it just felt off. So used ro collecting. Then pre 2017. I replayed it around 2018 I think (I'd have to check my save file. We always had the Xbox One but most times it was under the tv stand collecting dust, very few co-op oe singleplayer uses). So a few years after its 2014/2015 release & because I was more open to hack n slashes, tactics RPGs, visual novels & more to explore the time as 2017+ I was kind of getting bored of IPs going a certain way, eh gameplay, eh cinematic angle, 2017+ third parties and Wii U/Vita/orher consolrs. PS4/Xbox One first party nope. When Knack 1&2 are old god of war & more exciting then God of War 2018 which I did play to the story end you know I am picky. XD GT Sport, Ratchet 2016 being eh, I binged GOW series leading up. (cough Last of Us God of War. The scales were more exciting of set pieces/attacks & 2018/Rag are so pathetic. 2020 Japan Studio getting cut down for financial sense made sense for me, but it made me give up on PlayStation to only third parties of any different game design/themes (cough even less generic sboiters reviswers Aveum/Hardline). No nostalgia or bland familiarity. Now to the game details. No towers (cough Spiderman and BOTW), no NPC quests I hate doing for side content sure some are there but they aren't 'the only thing to do alongside whatever main story'. The fact Spiderman games always had like some rings in Spiderman 2 2004 or whatever other things. You can tell Spiderman PS4 I felt them awkward then Spyro's flight to do but we're more engaging then the rest of the game. Yeah I enjoyed Sunset Overdrive so much and Spiderman PS4 other than the radar, the laser (above and below), the alb puzzles I did every time.they unlocked and raks master I had no interest in the rest, it was a standard opena old and I don't care how polished or not in areas I didn't enjoy it I gave Horizon Zero Dawn 20 Hours & was bored, the world is great the gameplay/content is so boring & the cauldrons sucked the parts I thought I'd like. Partly it's how I played the game but it still was so boring. Miles/MJ or the Spiderman to Pete moments the story telling was fine the gameplay was boring, outposts are boring, towers first because I hate unlocking the map aka same in BOTW towers first then do rest. Side content so bland. Ground pound for side mission was the most of finally I can give an ability some use then just the safest use of a crowd control one & ignore the rest or try them out/not use them. Forgot how to use ground pound after the mission but it was still exciting just like using gadgets in Ratchet, items in Zelda or beams in Metroid giving somerhing more purpose. Sure I get why it's designed the way it is & less restrictive but they have so little purpose I couldn't care less to engaging with any of it. I can play a racing game & have more fun tuning cars, doing strict enough events or be bored with modern racing games being so basic that everything you do is so open or badly restricted linear, wow throwing fast cars at you, forget peogression/smaet event design these days. Go retro indeed for better. I left the game at the Scorpio/other boss there fight near the end. Don't care to finish it. (Miles is a good character but eh use for him of stealth isn't exciting COUGH RIvet in Rift Apart being so similar gameplay to Ratchet. MJ/Miles are same gameplay wise basically so eh. No terminal or other use cases to make him stand out gameplay wise would have been nice but nope. But of course he had to be built up and that was fine for his game Miles Morales and Spiderman 2 2023) I loved the Ratchet weapon creativity, I loved the platforming missions, I loved the crazy world premise, the bouncing umbrellas, the level design wasn't that exciting it's generic as ever but it worked enough. Open worlds no matter how open or city crowded are all boring and not beating a linear game or hub based with a mix of things or good obstacle courses, just buildings or open space is boring. When forpsoken or Xenoblade Chronicles X had better level design with the odd mountains and abilities to interact with it (Forpsoken or Atlas Fallen more so and got me hyped and they deliver a fair amount) other open worlds are baldn to me in comparison. Interactivity makes games fun. If you want a story fine but you play a game to do things. Not dumb it down for newcomers (some you can't turn off cough Pikmin 4) or have training wheels mechanics to remove (some may but like I said Pikmin 4 I can't and ruined the game for me. I still played it through to 98% but I have now as of the final parts going to end it, loved the new content, the quality of life sucked so 5/10 or stays my rating and review) or barely any distinct ones to get excited about game industry. It's not the most memorable game of story events but gameplay/personality wise I loved it (grinding zombies/overcharged enemies or whatever their called was annoying for weapon levels which is why I never finished it (last mission/boss to do the same as Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks the final areas and a few things to do) it I did most of the main stuff, same issue with but I find that to be the case with every open world. Was it fun yes. I sort of enjoy platformer open worlds. Granted used to platformer sandbox games but when RPG are involved I find their dialogue, story, worlds, quests and combat usually boring so I go for more interesting combat in Eternal Sonata/Conception Plus or well Tactics games aka board game RPGs with small levels than the town's and worlds I don't care about in regular RPGs. So not tower defence (which I don't mind sometimes like city builders/strategy games but not as much strategy other technical elements but fun enough silly fun stories to enjoy and fair combat/boards usually Disagea as the geo panels are buff/debuff varied and fun, most others have some ideas and their fine of rescue townspeople, or so this battle or clear enemies, or whatever for say Wargeoove (townspeople thing) or Fire Emblrm or whatever quirks Tactics Orgew had of some realism elements that annoyed me, man for a SNES game remade twice it was odd. Or Fifield Chronicle for it's real time but still limited ideas with abilities but not much going on and average story to tell us things happen but barely bsee it. XD But I find actual platformers Todo sandboxes or open worlds to be boring aka I'd it's too Banjo so a Clive n Wrench, Spyro 2&3 (2 I can take 3 was too filled and not all of it was good and I like variety just not the mess it was I find or less engaging levels/minigames as 2 or pure platforming as Spyro 1 being FUN not EMPTY/BASIC). I went all over the place but I find the context of rambling kind of explains my point better. XD
