Just got one of these for my Gemini X. Besr upgrade ever, especially here where they're not too familiar with asphalt. Handles dirt roads great, and when I make it to an actual paved road, it's like floating on air.

Ok, great review, you sold me. I've been riding on trails and old railroad beds and I also weigh 250lbs and get my back side bounced. I totally enjoy riding my rad rover 6 plus and I'm in the process of installing some signals.

I bought two of these for our Aventures. Very nice upgrade. We ride mostly choppy tarmac and gravel.

I've been riding one of these for a year now and think it's a fantastic bargain upgrade. I wish they did a flexi stem that works on the same principle, just to combat numbness from rough rides

I am still loving mine, but still do get numb butt if I sit too long. But, at least I not getting the jolts to the back.

Lance, I have an aventure2 and bought a cloud 9 seat, because I don't want to spend the money for a suspension seat post. But, alas, my seat post is too big for the cloud 9. Do you know how I can get this to work?

Have you tried using the mounting hardware that is on the Aventon seat. Maybe you can remove that hardware and use it on the Cloud 9 so it will fit onto the seat post.

Anyone closer to 300lb. using the Red" Spring for riders over 180 pounds? Nowhere does it give the maximum weight.

I use the red spring and I am 250. I have had no issues with it bottoming unless I really hit big bump sitting down at a faster speed. Other then that it really smooths out the trail, bike path or street.

Hi. The size I got form my RadRover 6 Plus is a 27.2. I also got the spring for heavier riders. @@michellesmith3106 It depends on how you want to film your rides. At the minimum I would recommend a chest harness for POV shots, and a handlebar mount for POV and looking back at you if you want to talk to the camera while riding. I would also recommend the media mod for better sound if you dont want to buy an external mic. I would definitely go with the Hero 11. Its got a bigger image sensor then the Hero 10 which brings out more vibrant colors. Also some type of handle/selfie stick if you want to walk around with it.

How much do you weigh if you don't mind me asking, what is the maximum weight for this seat post?

I am 250. The standard stock spring that comes with it is rated for riders between 140 to 195 pounds. I got the option hard "Red" Spring for riders over 195 pounds. It doesnt show a max limit though.

It is a strange feeling at first for the seat to move backward as it compresses. But, you do get used to it quickly.
