Awesome video. I'm thinking about buying Itiwit 500 10" / 3" 140L. I want to try surfing with it but where I live we don't get medium waves often. When there are no waves can I easily paddle and have fun? I'm around 70 kg.

Hi caynik, I usually just paddel the board when there are no waves, but it works perfectly well. An extra paddle fin comes with the set. But you can not fix a bag or a bottle of water on the board; not so good for longer tours.

@@supsenior Thanks for sharing your experience. I saw people adding bungee to their iSUPs but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to glue something on an expensive SUP. D you have an opinion on that? Thanks again!

@@caynik no, not really - But I saw that Decathlon changed the board to white: with a single fin and no extra touring fin. It's actually on sales for 250€, at least in Germany🙂

@supsenior yes, I'm thinking about buying the one fin white/orange version. It's around $600 in Türkiye. I don't like that they removed side fins though. I don't want to invest in something that wouldn't feel as smooth as the predecessor. But I love how thin the board is, and the rocker looks amazing. I couldn't find any other isup with such a good front/back rocker in Türkiye. Also, none of the isups are below 6". You are very helpful, thank you!

@supsenior for that price, I would buy it right away just for surfing and buy another board type for longer rides, but we are taxed so much we have to pay three times more than European countries.

Great vid! What camera is this and how did you mount it please?
@supsenior2 жыл бұрын
Hi, it's a GoPro9 mounted at the nose of the board - with the standard adhesive gopro mount. But if you check more actual vids, you will see that I used the Gopro Max - 360° - that's even more impressive :-)

Hi! Thanks for your video's. Nice to watch you having fun! After a year, would you still recommend this board? Build quality and how it surfs? I'm thinking about this one, or the 10' longboard sup from Gong, which has FCS II fins. What would you recommend? Cheers!

Hi Arnout, the quality of the board is good - first time I pumped it up a little more than recommended an checked the seams. One spot was off a little bit and I glued that. The glue came with the board. The cool thing of the board is the thickness with only 3". That makes it a little easer to turn - even though it's still difficult (at least for me ) to have sharp turns und also paddling into the waves is better as you do not have a huge bow wave. On the other hand the thickness also leads to a little 'wabble' of the board. The fins are definitely shitty. I exchanged the middle fin with a much stiffer one (hand shaped from me). Your weight should not be more than 90Kg, due to the minor thickness of the board. All and all I think it's a strong buy - if you want an ISUP!

if you look at my vid from 30th Nov. These waves were a little to high for the board. It just felt unstable and not controllable anymore.

@@supsenior Thank you for your detailed answer. My previous replies were removed i think, maybe because i used an url to another board. Not sure. But highly appreciated. Stay stoked!

How much do you weight? Im 90 kg, do you think I could paddle on flat water recreationally except surfing it?
@supsenior2 жыл бұрын
My weight is around 80Kg - I think it'll still work with 90Kg, but the board will be deep in the water, as it's only 3" thick. But 140l will enough to carry your weight. Will you surf the board as well or will you buy it for flat water use only?
@bogdanandjelic22002 жыл бұрын
@@supsenior Mostly flat, but few times a year for surf. I guess ill need at least 240liters..

@@bogdanandjelic2200 I'm 90kg. You'll be just fine. I paddle the 11'' Itiwit sup and use it ocasionally for surfing.

Can you use this board wirh a TrainerKite? 3m? Could be fun, is it fast and stiff?
@supsenior2 жыл бұрын
Hi Pette, sorry I have no idea. Is is not so stiff as it's only 3" thick, but it has a good EVA grip pad. So may be it works - please let me know...

I have the 10' touring ITIWIT. is the board you are on much better for surfing?
@supsenior3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I think the main advantage of the board is that it's only 3" thick. I guess yours is 4".
