This looks to have been a great wee trip. I have backpacked before so know how much fun that can be, but I've not tried paddleboarding yet. last week I had hired a SUP for my first attempt, but sadly due to strong winds, all rentals were cancelled. This week the weather, tides, waves aren't too good, so my maiden SUP trial will have to wait. Regards from Whitley Bay

Hey Craig I go over that in more detail on the SUPboarder Pro video on the site. It does depending on where you are and how long you stay for. But I try and stay on a beach for one night only, and leave no trace AT ALL! And in an ideal scenario you would camp below the high water mean line. In many places this is not owned by the land owner but the crown. Thanks Reuben
