I'm very glad i found this video and all the positive reviews in the comments. I just moved into a house with 7 mini splits and was blown away when i found out it's $400 per unit, on average, to service them. Then I looked into doing it myself but the two main pressure washers I came across were like $800.... This port-a-blaster looks sufficient for my needs. Don't need to be spending $500 more just for battery power. Thanks!

Holy cow I need that! That’s the only thing I don’t like about my Milwaukee transfer is that it’s not made to put a hose nozzle on the outlet side. What it is amazing for is flushing condensate drains and removing water from full drain pans. I’m in FL so that’s an everyday event. I’ve envisioned a tool like this Supco you have and now it exists! Thanks Rick!

I would like to add that you have some great ideas as well. The milwaukee power station for instance you use with the unit. I never would have thought it would have enough power to operate the unit. I will be doing the same with mine. As you well know, it's hard to find power in some of the areas we get into. Great gift idea for Christmas. My wife is always looking for ideas. I appreciate how diverse you are in your area. Have a great day and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We have 2 port a blasters at work. We mostly use them on smaller split units or smaller RTU’s. We have over 10 RTU’s and over 25 MAU’s so I don’t use it on the bigger RTU’s. Instead of a bucket I use one OC those 5 gallon water bottles with the smaller head. Sometimes I’ll fill the water bottle with warm or hot water. I don’t use coil cleaners unless the fins and coils are extremely dirty. I wish someone would come out with a 70 or 90 degree stainless steel piece for those tough angles. Or at least a tip would be nice.

The cabinet design is reminiscent of a refrigerant recovery machine. Does this drain itself completely of water, so it could be safely stored in a place where the temperature might go below freezing (such as one's van)?

Yep it does, (we're getting into the low 30s in Ohio already). What I've been doing is unhooking both hoses and running the pump for a couple seconds. While tipping it to the side.

3:15 Frozen soapy secret used by instrument makers and is easy to handle, the mix on the other hand is a closely guarded secret. Also sand packed in a tube works, but very easy to split your tube and finding a rod the right size is a real pain in the neck. The soapy water deal slides and like turns to a sort of clay like slush. Then just rinse it out. I'd have to look it up again to tell you everything. I want to try to the silicone tubes they have for making bends in PC water cooling setups.

It's not got the volume that a garden hose has but it does have more pressure, usually water volume is what you need to drive large particles out of the coil, I'd rather have a garden hose but if you're on a rooftop unit that has no water within a couple hundred feet then this might be the best option. The alternative sprayers are no better and they cost between $700 and $900
