Super 8 Sound Projector Demonstration (Tom and Jerry on film)

A brief demonstration of my super 8 sound projector in action. Sorry that I couldn’t play this entire episode of Tom and Jerry due to copyright reasons and to make this video shorter for the sole purpose of the demonstration of this projector.

I had a super 8 projector and camera but no sound. I still have those super 8 home movies.

I have this same model of projector and I love it. It isn't perfect, some films give me the same problem when threading and mine takes a while to get up to speed so I usually run a 50 foot silent reel through it before I run anything with sound. That big drawer of films looks awesome. I would love to see a collection video. I wish you the best of luck in finding more great films from one Chinon 4100 owner to another

nice I got an old black and decker filmosonic wasn't sure if the 18 - 24 fps were the norm at the time or their way of making you buy only their cameras haha well lesson learned.

18fps for silent film and 24 for sound.

Seems like the pitch for that film is kinda a little bit too high (that's not in PAL pitch...) ...I kinda like it!

@@ironmaiden6482 Для озвучки фильма на Луч-2 требуется синхронизатор и катушечный магнитофон. Фильмы на 8мм со звуковой дорожкой на самой кинопленке в СССР не выпускали.
