I agree with you, but I’m pretty sure that’s not an axolotl. Wild axolotls are brown, but he prolly bought it and faked it because they are only found in Mexico and are very rare. Sometimes captive bred axolotls can be yellow, but that one looks more orangish. It’s probably some other just a baby salamander of a different species. I don’t own an axolotl I just think they’re cool.

The thing is, axolotls cannot go out of water. Just because axolotls are amphibians, doesn’t mean they can leave water. So, try not to take those adorable and unique creatures out of water. They might die due to taking out of water.

You know that wild axolotls only live in a few parts of mexico? There are two options: This dude probably had a pet axolotl and put it there intentionally just to get views. Or its actually not an axolotl but some other kind of Amphibian in their larva state.... Which i hope

If you put an animal that was in captivity outside in the wilderness it will die it does not know how to forage for food it does not no clean water all it knows is a house or wherever it lives that’s where it belongs. That’s why people have birds you’re not supposed to let birds out you’re not supposed to free them because they will die same with fish literally any animal they will die they’re not supposed to go back into the wild once they got taken out of it
