as a very quiet girl through childhood, didnt have many fights of my own (though ive seen some catfights that were NUTS). probably the only thing that could be considered a "fight" was during elementary when i wanted to play baseball with the boys. being the girl (and a small one at that), they didnt want to let me in but they grudgingly accepted. i finally get my turn when one of them comes up and knocks the bat out of my hand. i was mad by then so i grabbed the bat and was determined to play if only to spite the little shit. he isnt havin that, so he shoves me on the ground and gets on top of me, i was disoriented and pretty scared by then but i still had the bat in my hand. logical conclusion? knee him in the balls, stand up and swing the bat. got broken up after that, but the lesson is this: if you're gonna beat a kid up, dont do it while theyre holding a weapon. didnt get in anything besides that really, but i very much enjoyed a reputation of taking no shit from then on, regardless of gender.

Something I learned real quick in middle school was that, if there's no bruises by the end of it, you can kick the crap out of anyone at school, without any consequences. Me and my friend bullied bullies alot. We called it "hall monitoring," and got away with it. To avoid proof of our antics, we only swept legs, wrestled, and threw.

My combat experience is thus: (1) Bull-rushed my way into a metal play pole in a dumb child attempt to discourage harassers. I got a set of stitches. Harassing continued. (2) Pinned a guy for making a childhood sweetheart cry. Taken to the principal's office. Let off due to said sweetheart's testimony. (3) Pinned another guy for roughhousing with my little sister and making her fall off a snow hill. No consequences because school had just been adjourned and nobody was watching. Every one of these incidents happened in elementary school. Nothing else happened after that. Nobody ever punched me nor did I ever punch anyone. It's disappointing, to some extent.

I agree with pat, sometimes violence really is the best solution. At least it brings the deep satisfaction that no diplomatic talking can ever bring. My fights usually ended before they even begun. someone was an asshole, i punched/bit/clawed and the end. Probably because the asshole was stunned that I even reacted. I was quiet girl back then. Like when i was in middle school, this one shitkid, he was like 10 i think, sat behind me in bus and wouldn't stop kicking and shaking the seat i was sitting on. He was laughing obnoxiously about it too and just continued harder after being told by me couple of times to knock it off. So i turned around, grabbed a fistful of his hair and slammed his head against the back of my seat. I almost pushed this same shitkid down the stairs when he later pointed at me at school shouting how I'm crazy. He was at the staircase, it was perfect opportunity. I'm glad i didn't go with the temptation.

I don't like fighting but when i was in year 7 i had to go to this all boys catholic school filled with football players and got into any fight i could so i could leave schools, this one kid who was more than a foot smaller than me kept kneeing me in the back of the head on the oval saying he was "speckying" me (in australian football it's when you put your knee on someone's back to get up and catch the ball), i didn't want to fight him because of his size but told him I'm not an idiot and to stop, and the kid was like "or else what, what are you going to do, i dare you to do something" and his friends my size were around like "yea i dare u", so I basically rock bottomed him as hard as i could and after his head bounced off the floor he got up and did that high pitched 3 year old about to cry sound while him and his friends called me a dick and walked off, and that sound he was making was within earshot until he was on the other side of the oval. We had a second round outside of the house and I was able to knock him to the ground but I was so weak from losing so much blood from my nose. Then middle school they had some fight Club thing going on at the bathroom after school, I went in one time, kinda sparred with a older kid then that was that, high school- kid talking shit in 9th grade (mind you this was when I started boxing) went to a abandoned house, fought and I won with a jab, almost had the police called on me by the kids mom but I guess she had other things to worry about because he was getting kicked out of high school for something, then 10th grade a former friend punched my mom and I was beating on him for about 2 or 3 minutes, and he was then sent to the police, other than that, today it's sparring and training to have my first amateur fight, which I guess count but are sanctioned fights

I was honestly confused, since I had no idea who he was, and never talked to him at all, so told him to fuck off, like to the little dumbass I am. The next day, while I went for a bathroom break, the same kid tries to pull a fast one on me while taking a piss, I noticed before he could land a hit, and ended up accidentally peeing on him. He got startled by that, so I took advantage of it, and ended up decking him in the face, almost knocking him out. I ended up getting suspended, and got a mouthful from my parents.

Man, these stories just remind me of my time in Elementary. I remember this one time where I was minding my own business. Playing Tether Ball when all of a sudden this bigger kid (probably a year older than me, I can't remember it was the 1st grade) just shoved me to the ground yelling "Tag!". I wasn't even playing with them and I hit the ground hard. I can barely remember what happens next as I was in pain and pissed off. So according to the other kids I ran and grabbed the kid running by the shoulders and just threw him down onto the edge of a sandbox (the concrete kind, not the plastic ones) breaking or injuring his collar bone. I had to apologise, give the kid some tickets to Harry Potter and was forced to take Anger Management Counseling from then on. From that day, I learned that the crying kid has more power in these kinds of situations. So what do I do with this knowledge? I learn to be an even bigger scumbag because I can't win in a fight. I decided to win the war by biting my own arm, crying and then blaming it on the person who provokes me. Of course they would call me a liar and that I bit myself, but the teachers never believed it. It's funny to look back on this considering I'm such an apathetic/mellow person now who wants to avoid conflict at every opportunity. After that incident I never really got into a fight, school was a mellow and boring time period. Not even sure why I'm sharing this info, just felt compelled to. Anyways, you've read this far. I hope you have a good day.
@strykertron2325 жыл бұрын
I only had a few physical altercations in my childhood. The first one I can remember was in the 5th grade when I punched a kid in the stomach over some name call (I was not a well tempered kid). Second was when I tried to choke a kid out, felt terrible about it, apologized to the kid later in the day, changed schools shortly afterwards, and never raised my hands in anger against another human being to this day. The third time was a bit more whimsical. There was a short period of time when it was en vogue to jump on someone's back and go on a "surprise rodeo." When someone rried to do it to me, I flipped him over my shoulder, putting him flat on his back. I helped him up, we had a larf, good times had by all.

Man, if I knew how I'd make Mugen characters out of these guys. Woolie would obviously be a boxer who does Haka to buff himself, Pat would be a grappler who has some underhanded moves, and a gun, Matt would fight with a fire axe, obviously, which can be thrown and picked up (1% chance of him throwing it off screen and it becoming unrecoverable for the rest of the round). Liam would fight like he's from an anime fighter, obviously he'd have attacks that are references to various anime and, inspired by his story here, has a one hit KO move that either has a really long startup so that it's not super easy to land, or he has to pick up manga and other merch off the ground, and once he's collected everything he needs, he gets access to it. Why am I coming up with this stuff at 4AM?

Back when I was in school. I had a fight where the guy's first move was fail to rugby tackle me. My footing held and I could have easily kicked his teeth in. But instead I did nothing and let him do his flail on me and land one punch that did nothing (he knew the moment his opening move failed I could have ruined his day at any moment I wanted so he got desperate). This was my honour system's permission to land one solid punch on him to end it in one. Fucking teacher goes in to stop the fight just when I was gonna punch him straight in the forehead to force a concussion on him (I didn't want to make his already ugly face uglier, just in case I could fake a lie that I never hit him-turns out me actually making a conscious choice to not hitting him and saying that to the teacher got me the same punishment as him). Next day, lil bitch was talking shit about "winning the fight" for landing a punch that did nothing. Wanted to rip him a new one right there. But I didn't. Given the stories I have heard of the best friends. I learned that being the better man is bullshit and in my adult life that has resulted in me having Pat level cynicism about honour and compassion. Punch babies ladies and gents, or they'll grow up not knowing the fear from the punishment of being an asshole.

My school has a strict policy of “if you try to defend yourself with violence, you’re just as bad.” We were put into an assembly where the principal told us to our faces “you better run away from a fight, but if you can’t you can only block.” And they held true to that statement. This girl got pushed into a literal corner and beaten to shit by two girls and the school called it even because the victim hit back towards the end. Of course she hit back! The teachers were just watching waiting for the resource officer to get involved because they didn’t want to get in trouble for putting their hands on a student. Like she was getting her face beaten in and they expected her to not defend herself? Pisses me the fuck off. Utter bullshit. Everyone involved got DAEP which is like alternative school for when you fuck up super hard.

If I even looked in his general direction or even just existed he would always go "Whachu lookin at Burnt Ear?" I wasn't the kind of kid who enjoyed fighting or any kind of conflict. But after my brother talked to me I made a decision that the next time he would call me burnt ear, I would "handle it." While in the lunch line, he called me it AGAIN so I just said fuck it and tackled the son of a bitch, punching at him. We were both suspended and boy did it feel good. Holy fuck Liam is BASED. Closest thing to a fight I've had also happened in a bus. Guy put me in a headlock, started laughing, I whacked him one. My dad's advice? "Draw blood next time." We were doing martial arts at the time, so not getting a good hit in was kinda embarrassing.

When I was in high school, this guy who was at least 2 feet taller than me and insanely fat tried picking a fight with me and I beat him in a fight with a single move. I dodged his giant gorilla fist, weaved around him and jumped, putting my arms around his neck. (I was the smallest kid in school and he was one of the biggest so I literally had to jump to reach his neck) I then used all of my strength to pull back, pulling him over. As he fell, I let go and let myself hit the ground and rolled to the side so he didn't land on me. He fell backwards and hit his head on the ground, knocking himself out. When he woke up he cried.

In all fairness, i didn't WANT to kick the ass of the student that pushed me to the ground. In all fairness, I didn't WANT to choke slam them back whenever they kept me from exiting a room by blocking the door In all fairness, I didn't WANT to make him suffer for being an asshole ever since 5th grade all the way to 9th. The worst part is that he was 2 years older than me, and he was most likely above my weight class by like 3 classes. I know that revenge isn't always the answer, But man! Would it have felt GREAT to just wail on him.
