A friend of mine bought an R1 from them only to later recieve a letter saying that it had outstanding finance on it and he didnt legally own it. Absolute crap company who i wouldnt touch with a barge pole.

I Don't trust them, a lot of the bikes they have for sale are dirty, which means they are flipping bikes as fast as possible, they probably don't even test most of them, once they have your money, they don't give a fuck. Stick to family owned dealers as they tend to be more customer focused.

Yup lesson learned, not buying from them again

I'm a motorcycle mechanic for a day job and I hate superbike factory. Unfortunately 1 month warranty is industry standard, saying that most local places with good aftersales support would still cover it say if it was 5 weeks after you bought it. Without knowing what was wrong with the throttle it could quite easily pass a mot with a throttle cable that's about to snap as the mot tester cannot remove any parts to look at it, they can only see over the bike as it sits there. You problem sounds like a fuel supply issue, possibly fuel pump but if it's intermittent it's evan harder to track down. Good luck

Sorry to hear about your bike. Hope it gets sorted. Being honest I’ve bought 3 bikes from them ( was after very specific bikes, and they were the only ones that had them) first one, my expectations were unrealistically high ( not implying yours were!) and I was disappointed. 2nd, I lowered my expectations a bit and after I serviced the bike myself, it’s been brilliant. 3rd arrives today and I’m expecting to service it for sure! I have a worry about a couple things on its MOT but apparently they’re getting sorted. Time will tell!

SBF is ropey at best, most bikes have part service history, not prepped for sale. They sell the bikes & dont service themselves. Keep in mind they own webuyanybike & sell the trash on SBF

Good luck with your bike buddy, unfortunately buying a second hand bike from anyone is a bit of a gamble,with a dealer you pay top dollar but should be covered with a least a 3 month warranty,private is cheaper and what you save can cover any costs if it breaks down ! I always serviced my own bikes because i dont trust the dealers. Hope it doesn't cost to much, and stay safe !

You should have done your "Research on here" your experience is typical. You should have" "REJECTED IT . SALE OF GOODS ACT " and RETURNED IT. You have been very nieve letting them get away with it. You should not loose out " IT IS THERE PROBLEM NOT YOURS".

@0paa0paaa "THE GOODS YOU BOUGHT ( MOTORCYCLE) WAS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE" . Do not be fobbed off . Do not give them any money. The FAULTS WERE THERE AT TIME OF PURCHASE . With motor vehicles you have up to six months ( within reason) . Do not listen to any B/S from them . They are a bad outfit with plenty of history for this sort of thing. Realisticaly sounds like a " MONEY BACK SENARIO TO ME".
@GrahamNewman-mq7gr6 күн бұрын
@@0paa0paaa With moror cycles / cars the "SELLER" ( SUPERBIKE FACTORY IN THIS CASE) are liable for defects up to " 6 " months if it was a fault / defect on your vehicle you bought . This is why they do not allow you to " Ride " the bike before they have stitched you up with Financial products , or you have paid. If you took any Financial Products from them you are in a STRONGER POSITION. Please keep me informed how you get on.

Buy in salvage auctions instead, they need damaged bits replaced but they're actually cheap and were of course decently rideable before being crashed

Pre-owned has always been a gamble. Never spend your whole budget on the bike. ⅔ to ¾ maximum. If you are borrowing, know the full cost and expect expenses in the repayment period. If you borrow to your limit and buy the most expensive you can afford, it's a leap of faith that can't be made to add up.
