There are 3 options when it comes to cab size in trucks. A regular cab, a Super Cab, and a Crew Cab. But what are the differences in the Super and Crew cabs? We go through some of the differences to keep in mind when searching for your next truck.

The biggest problem with truck buying today is,people are buying truck that they use as cars.That is why the super crew is so popular.You don't need a 400hp F150 to go to the super market.

Man, they stopped the production of the 1/4 cab which I prefer over the regular, because in the regular you can't adjust the angle of the seats because of the back wall, with the 1/4 also I can store the food I bought in the supermarket, seems that the supercab is the way to go if you carry max 3 people most of the time including driver, you are 5'10" you fit exactly and you're not slim nor fat, so I think a 6 feet slim people could fit there just like you, bigger people could but not for so long travels, nice video.

Not from the factory, but there may be retrofit kits out there.

More rear leg room available in super cab if front seat can be moved forward? I heard 2022 Ranger models have more rear leg room and are wider.

The front seats can be moved forward to make more room in the super cab model trucks. The 2022 Ranger is no different in interior cabin space that 2019-2021. You may be thinking about the 2023 model year Ranger. That has been announced in it's global platform but the US version has not yet been revealed. The next model Ranger will have a new interior and will most likely feature more interior space.

No, the Super Duty and F-150 share the same cab so there is no difference space wise.

👍 99% correct unless you're counting the mega cab comes in the 3/4 ton in one ton only 4500 or bigger and doesn't come in half ton basically 9 99% correct

An actual measurement of the space would've been nice. I mean, how much actual useful room is in the crew cab with the seat folded up vs the supercab.

The difference will vary depending on the truck. The video features a mid-size Ranger, F-150 and Super Duty. I'll assume you mean the F-150 where the difference is substantial. The Crew Cab has 10 more inches of leg room than the Super Cab, so visualize that much more storage room between the two with the seat up.

Why does nowhere ever say directly hey, this is what a damn supercab looks like, hey this is what a crew cab looks like. Like ya know… say it and show a picture, then say in comparison and show a picture? Why so complicated?

I'm not sure where the confusion is. This video visualizes the words spoken about the SuperCab and CrewCab to show the comparisons for each. We also go in-depth to show the differences in leg room and cargo space across all of our Ford truck models except for the Maverick which was not yet released at the time of making the video.
