CERN in Switzerland trying to play god. CERN has statue of kali at the front door. Kali is the Hindu goddess of death and rebirth, she expresses the dual nature of the destruction that must come before new beginnings, and of the strength of the female power which can sometimes do what the man cannot.

It works very well as an analogy for the divisiveness, aggression and unease of today's US and includes many symbols of them - climate change, collapsing towers, migration, insider trading and market manipulation, corruption and, most of all, at the root of all the mayhem to come, the "power drain". Aside from all of that the film wouldn't make much sense at all.

This film is portraying what could, might, possibly etc have happened, if the US had been successful in their bid to build the successor to the Hadron Collider. No mention in the movie of CERN, cost, personnel, or anything remotely resembling the project now underway. This truly bad movie has obviously had numerous cuts to it that have ruined the continuity needed to keep the audience in their seats to it's bizarre conclusion.
@Queen.Lady.Jocelyn3 ай бұрын
If I'm not mistaken they have built and are running at least 4 colliders. They don't talk about them as much as the one in Switzerland. The more people that know about them the more explaining they'll have to do and they don't like people knowing what's up their sleeves. Even though they finally found the "God" particle they don't know how to use it🤦♀️😉🤣

@PuellaMagiHomuraAkemi3 ай бұрын
Cause we cant measure any change, its pretty simple lol We observe every little thing about our planet, so no shizo stuff please its silly af CERN is also controlled by scientists that studied in their field, stop watching TVs where they are portrayed like dumb people, its simply not reality what happens in movies - deal with it. The only catastrophes we've had were Chernobyl and Fukushima.
@PuellaMagiHomuraAkemi3 ай бұрын
@Anti-Fake-ul9oe You truly are not among the brightest, are you? *facepalm* Its not rocket science to simply look up the terms man... Global warming refers to the rise in global temperatures due mainly to the increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Climate change refers to the increasing changes in the measures of climate over a long period of time - including precipitation, temperature, and wind patterns. As greenhouse gas emissions blanket the Earth, they trap the sun's heat. This leads to global warming and climate change. Global warming is the increase of the Earth's average surface temperature due to build-up of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Climate change is a broader term that refers to long-term changes in climate, including average temperature and precipitation. Next time stop the shizo and just look up the difference, one thing leads to another.
