I have just finished making 2 door panels just like you are doing here and currently designing the top 3 panels. I wish I had seen this video 2 months ago 😊when I was starting with the project. I found my biggest challenge was visualising the panel when in situ. My panel is a bright coloured panel like yours in this video, and the colours appeared to work far better when flat on the work bench. Everything looked good to go, However when held up to the light (which we only were able to do when the panel was soldered) i would have switched some colours for others. I guess taping my glass pieces to a solid window (I.e. building the pattern onto a glass window) preferably in the same area where the panel will be installed would help to get an idea of what it will look like when installed? Any other suggestions? I also wanted to ask what software you use to do your designs?
@JanLightLeadedDesigns6 ай бұрын
To be honest for me it's just down to experience.. After a while to get a good feeling for how the colours are will come together in the end 🫶

Lead is perfectly safe, don’t believe the rubbish that’s spoken about it. The only issue is if you ingest it. So as long as you wash your hands after handling it there is nothing to worry about. Careful handling and keeping your hands out of your mouth until you’ve washed them will allow you to draw your old age pension.
