Slade were famous for their, 'wall of sound', that basically surrounded you with music. Always a, 'happy/having fun', band who never took themselves seriously. Classics, such as:- Skweeze Me Pleeze Me Take Me Bak 'Ome Look Wot You Dun Cum On Feel The Noize My Friend Stan Coz I Luv You Mama Weer All Crazee Now Everyday Far, Far Away

This is an 80s contribution from Slade...84/85?? Try 'Everyday' which is a ballad and it really makes Noddy's voice shine imo. I think this and 'Cuz I Love You' are my favourite Slade songs. Then there are lots of 'stompers' e.g. 'Come on Feel the Noize' - you'll like that one, I think. And *obviously* for a Xmas reaction you have 'Merry Xmas Everybody' - which is still compulsory at Xmas - on a loop - in every shop in the UK lol.

Or Far Far Away. I always liked that song a lot. I still have the 'In Flames' record from the Slade-movie by the same name.

This was like an 80s comeback for them. Their big years were the early/mid 70s during the glam rock days.

Thanks for this one. Slade was huge in Europe but relatively unknown in America until this song came out in heavy rotation on MTV. For real rockers, check out "Mama we're all crazee now" and "Cum on feel the noise". And don't miss their biggest USA hit, "My oh my".
