1 week update: I do this full routine on the rest days from working out; I workout one day, rest and stretch the next and so on; so every other day. Then a do a condensed version after my workouts as well to stay limber and get the most from my workouts. After a week I am significantly lower in my middle split, my overall lower body feels less fatigued, my lower body is fuller looking, as well as my back has noticed less tension as well. @Adison This is a great video. I'm just starting out with stretching and I have a particular area that wasn't covered in this video but may be relevant. I have a lot of soreness in the area on the outside of my hip bone down through my IT band. I've tried several different exercises working the hips as you've shown as well as trying to target the TFL. They provide some temporary relief but I feel as though I'm not targeting the correct area to gain more flexibility and provide relief. The closest exercise I saw here that would target it is the frog pose, but I don't know if it's enough pressure on the outside of that particular area to have an impact. The only way I seem to really target the area is by sitting with one leg in a butterfly and the other leg best way to describe is how you have it in the frog pose (knee facing forward but bottom half pointed towards the butt) and lean my body towards the leg that's facing backwards. I haven't seen anyone do anything like this before and I don't know if it's an actual exercise so I'm not putting a lot of pressure, #1 to not cause any damage using improper form but #2 it is quite painful. Does this sound like something I should be doing? Or do you have a better suggestion? If more explanation is necessary I can provide more details. Thanks!

I am trying to do some of your stretches and I have a horrible time because I gad a surgery 2.5 years ago and ( because everything shut down) I could not go to therapy & I don’t have full range of motion.
