Martin....your "How To" videos are the absolute best! I especially love how you encourage your viewers; consistently repeating the ease at which landscaping et. al. can be/is done. But what honestly makes it "easy" is all your down-to-earth tips and tricks that you've learned over the years; and your willingness to share them. I made my first donation to you because you deserve it....your video instructions are truly the best!😆

Thanks for the tip on walnut shells. These are available in smaller quantities as pin cushion filler or for pet Reptile Bedding, 5-qt bag.

Thanks a lot for your video! For painting the masts correct use Vallejo 71.095 pale green which is exactly RAL 6011. this is the colour the DB uses.

As usual Martin, a well thought out production and script to make, build and print this scenic OHC system. It is always a pleasure to watch your films with all their useful hints and tips to create the scenes.

Wonderful and inspiring as always. We’ve been contemplating a long time on how to put DIY pukos on those modern style Peco tracks and as discretely as possible, similar to K-track. All manufactured solutions aren’t satisfying in our book as of yet. All kind of thoughts went through our head but we are still working on it. Such a shame that Märklin doesn’t seem to resume development of K-track… Another route would perhaps be painting the sleepers but that would be extremely fiddly but then the shape should be prototypically be concaved as well, and not flat. Switches are very challenging on top, especially converting express points. We’re not finished thinking but we’ll get there in the end somehow. Thank you for this input.

Great tutorial! Peco Code 100 is a good choice, I used it for my layout, and works very well for almost every European theme.

Very well done, thank you. Pricing of 3D printers keeps coming down, while features improve. I model N-scale and a 3D printer would be of value to me. Thank you for providing the information.

Märklin do make flex-tracks in Z-scale with concrete sleepers, but nothing in H0, that's somewhat strange, I think concrete sleepers have been in use on German railways since the 1950s, both in West Germany and the GDR. I have a small Z-scale layout and modelling the 1970s and I have used tracks with both wooden and concrete sleepers.

Thank once again for a very good tutorial! The companu Esska has many different grits of crushed wallnut shells. Is the 0,45 - 1,0 mm the right choice? Have you sifted it in anyway? /ADJ Sweden
