Woody, (apologies for what may be a dumb question:) would your cable improve a VLF detector? If so, would you sell a few meters of cable? I ask because my detecting "buddy" can't afford a "better" detector and her coil/cable has gone bad and I offered to try to "fix" it for her. Nothing ventured, nothing gained on an unusable detector!

I have not tested it on a vlf detector but I can’t see it not working. I will need to test it.

There is ways to keep the cost down but if we want really cheap coils I would have to have them made in China but the quality would be an issue.

The Algoforce metal detector, requires a 4 inch coil to reach its full potential.
