yes, it works BUT: Two things, getting that thing off as Yesenia noted, WAY harder than you made it look. You have to hold out the clip that locks it in while at the same time pulling on it. Mine was a bitch to get off. SECOND, the day after I did it I happened to try my REMOTE START and NO JOY! ? So to test I reconnected it and remote start now working. I don't use the remote start often, but I really dig it so for me this was a deal breaker. I left it reconnected. Back to the drawing board!

That connector is not for the Auto Start/Stop. That is for the Battery Monitoring Sensor. Yes, it will as a byproduct disable your A S/S, but your car will no longer be able to see the battery voltage, and could lead to issues.

@@nachospopthe3rd564 the hybrid turns the engine on and off all the time. when driving, when idling, when accelerating, when decelerating. sometimes it’s random and it kind of gets annoying. you can’t feel it sometimes though because hybrids don’t have starters. the engine gets wound up and going by an electric motor with a weird clutch like thing that also charges the battery and is also used for regen

The thing about a hybrid is that auto start/stop is designed for it. A non-hybrid isn't and it can cause certain parts to wear out faster.

How so? Particularly in the ford fusion models. Seems like the connector module is mainly just for battery voltage monitoring
