Soo easy to use! Just let it thaw in the fridge overnight. The easiest dough to use in my opinion. Enjoy!

It's 1:40am and I just finished making these. Did the exact same as you .. 1/2 with and 1/2 without the raspberry jam. Too tired to wait for them to cool in order to eat them. I contented myself with nibbling on the toasted spread scrapings from the silpat :) Tomorrow (ie, today) I will distribute the goodness among my sister, band mates and ex-wife-to-be ... Fair warning ... the hardest part of this is manipulating the pastry sheets. I had a heckuva time trying to get the second one to be the same size, and then lift it from the counter. It started to stick and in my panic I almost messed it up. I'm pretty sure I spent too much time trying to roll it to exactly the right shape and it got too warm. Also, twisting it is not as easy as Tatyana makes it look. I had to use my offset spatula to lift the strips off the counter to start, and had spread flying all over the place when twisting.

I woke up this morning with a sudden realization that in my excitement at making this I had missed a key ingredient! I forgot to add the honey drizzle on top of the pistachio layer. The good news is that I am pre-diabetic. The bad news is that now I have to make it again to see how it's really supposed to taste. Lesson learned: don't make these at ungodly hours when you are not at your best mental state. Tasted a bit of each one this morning. It reminded me of a Danish (which I am not fond of, mainly because of the icing). The very center seemed a bit doughy, although I baked them for the maximum 36 minutes. The non-raspberry ones were lighter in color, oddly, even though they were slightly taller. Can these be warmed before eating? Next time I will make them at a more reasonable time when I can eat them while they are still warm from the oven. I bet they will taste way better then.

@@TatyanasEverydayFood Hello again. Ok, well, I tried it & I failed.☹ By the time I was ready to cut & twist the ribbons, the dough was so soft & sticky, that I couldn't form anything with it. I made also 1-2 little mistakes which I'm not gonna talk about, 🤐 but the too-soft dough was my main issue. Will maybe try them another time. At least I tried! 😊

@@sergecrevier4196 Oh, no! Sorry to hear that they didn't work for you. I recommend keeping the dough refrigerated until you're ready to use it. If the strips stick to the counter, just slide a knife underneath to get them unstuck.

I know that I tease you a little when you use Dill because I can't eat it but one of my favorite things is a good Dill 🥒 pickle. Is it because there is so little dill that I can not taste it or does it just blend so well with the other ingredients it just creates a new flavor.? Because I don't taste any. Thanks. HI SWEETIE, did ya miss me. Sorry I've been away. But I'm back to give super support. Now as you know here on the farm we collect everything. Honey is our signature go to sweetener. We use it in everything even that afternoon cup of tea or coffee. I've even smoked some using honey and apple juice with apple wood pellets . Not full strength on the smoking end tho it comes out great very smokey taste can add a different taste to clear sodas. We eat it as a topping on out bread or toast. I followed this recipe all the way thru yes I wanted to add out apple honey but I didn't. I want to give 100%, support for you.
