OK .. the black without question was the perfect base coat... and as I watched you hit it with the white , I thought well that doesn't look like rust.. Then when you pulled out the orange, it Popped.. now the barbell looks weathered and used as if it were in a real carnival .. Thanks for the inspiration .. Peace

I love to do faux painting techniques. I’m doing this all the time. My favorite is the iron, rust & patina green finishes from Dixie Bell. They’re amazing. You would like them. Try them out. They’re So fun!
