There are some real beauties here. My favorite is the citrine. I was myself wondering if a should cut a kind of brownish citrine rough i have... I had doubts, but you gave me faith. Yours is gourgeous.

The "kryptonite" hyalite opal has been my favorite since your video debut. I really enjoy seeing the faceting patters you utilize which aren't seen in jewelry stores. Your work is superb!

These a masterworks of angle and light. There are not enough words to describe their loveliness . I saw in information for the competition. How are the gems being returned to the contestants after the competition?

Wow they all good. They all seem to sparkle to the eye when looking 25-65 degrees. But not dead on the table view. Such a good selection. I do like the Brazilian amethyst. I’m a sucker for slightly purple.

Stunning gems, Cliff! I watched this video three times and couldn't pick a favorite. When all the entries are in, it will be a very difficult decision for the judges... Looking forward to August.

This vid reminded me why I love and hate the jewelery industry. I dont think I ever seen amethyst this clean, and cut that beautiful. And these are not a thing in jevelery anymore couse they are not that rare... why does that matter? Synthetic's aren't particularly rare too.
