Oh yeah that one is fantastic too ! It adds tons of original bits, and masterful solo licks. But I still love Tetrimino's version, it sticks closer to the original, and I'm totally partial to that. :D

***** Well, to me Sixto's is so vivid and powerful I'd say it's one of the best I've heard _in my entire life_. Probably top 3 or 5 at least, amongst literally *thousands* of them. Not taking anything from Tetrominos' - it's a very good cover, but it lacks the extra "kick" Sixto's has. Perhaps it's because I'm very partial to wailing guitars and masterful note bends, lol.

This was always my favorite song playing this game. Right at the change in mood from the intro you'd be able to use your turbo, and the awesome tune comes on as you get a sudden burst of speed. Fantastic cover, guys.

AHHHHHHH THAT'S IT! One of my all time favorites music is so... Damn... Well... Done! I loved it! Reminds me of my childhood. I was terrible at this game. But I only played because I was sucker for its music. No surprise, I'd get further just so I could appreciate its landscape and its music. And now this doubles my nostalgia! Great stuff man!

creatorofworld I used the bridge pup for the most part. Medium gain, lots of mids, not much lows or highs. Post-recording I applied additional eq and a ping pong delay.

creatorofworld It may have sounded "les pauly" because he does the EXACT opposite of what most other VGM guitarists do; they saturate their guitars with tons of gain and scoop the mids, whilst DrPez does the opposite. DrPez has always had a great taste for tone, and both his rhythm and lead sounds are smooth, silky, and awesome.
