The, Kershaw Filter was only $21.00 at Walmart. Nice knife, I'm glad I got one. I have the, LOTHAR flipper/folder as well $20 roughly. Great knife. Rush Deer is a pretty cool knife for around $20 from Amazon. Believe it or not I just ordered 3 Barlow knives the one's your dad, and grandpa had or even great grandfather. Timeless classic. Barlow knives originated in England around 1670 a long time ago. So if anyone tells you Barlow is an American made company they're wrong but, either way it will take me back in time. Barlow knives aren't the highest quality but okay quality for the price of $10 bucks a piece; they were made so anyone could afford one and have a decent knife for everyday uses; back years ago you could pick up a Barlow for around $1.50- $2.00. I saw one Barlow for like $200. but it was very high quality materials. With the 3 Barlow's I got for $30. and some change I use one for everyday use, widdling and fishing and one to keep in prime shape as kind of a show piece. Thank you for the review. Very helpful. 😎👍

If you get the chance, you may want to add the Smith and Wesson SW609 to your list...Under $20 and worth more than twice as much. I work construction and have been carrying mine for several years. Hard to sharpen due to the hardness of the blade, but I have been told by many who have used it that it has a better edge than most stanley type razor knives.

The IKIV is sadly no longer available. Shame, I was really wanting to try one of those out. Absolutely love the modified wharnscliff (SP?) blade shape. I've owned one of the Ganzo G7531's. I own several Ganzo knives, and usually, I really like their stuff. the G7531 was... well, I opened up the box, and right out of the box, I filled out a return ticket for it. The pivot was tightened to the point that it was a struggle to open. And the axis lock was really stiff, and actually a bit painful to work. Ganzo knive's axis locks are like that tho, it takes a while for their springs to break in. I did end up giving the knife a try, and after tuning the pivot, it's a pretty good knife. That shape is very mindful of skinning knives, and really does do a good job of being a slicer. The grip is really comfortable. And it comes with a decent sharpness, and all the grinds are really good. The only bad things that I can really say about Ganzo is that the need to start using better knobs. For the axis lock, and the thumbstud. Something with a grind that doesn't bite so much into the fingers and thumbs. Aside from that, they're a great budget knife company! That one of mine tho, that pivot. It's fickle. And I'm constantly having to re-tune it.

Why is a deep carry clip so popular, they are more difficult to retrieve from pocket. Are folks that afraid of the end of their pocket knife being exposed? Deep carry clips almost always ruin the ergonomics of a knife with their tall design then add proud cap head screws to make it worse and many times, ruin pocket hems quicker. Over them.
