Speedrunning has actually given this track MORE epicness, since the three Bowser throws can ruin a world record run and they're the very last things you have to do, yet they're REALLY HARD to land properly with consistency and missing a throw could cost you the record, so seeing a runner trying to keep it cool with a WR on the line and this music plays... it's a fitting theme to perfection.

To those who haven't played this game, this music probably doesn't sound fitting. Believe me, it is for this fight. As a kid when I got to this fight I was so sweaty, I was worried I couldn't win. I knew I could try again but as a kid it still felt like a big deal. I got hit a few times but eventually I hit Bowser the second time while I had about 3/4 of health. When the platform fell into a star shape I started panicking and freaking out, I couldn't believe I had to deal with THIS awkward shape, since I normally relied on being close to the bombs. I got hit a ton of times, eventually having a sliver of health left. I grabbed Bowser, threw him, but I missed. He jumped back up and attacked some more. There's this one annoying fire attack where he breathes fire and fire goes scattering all over the battlefield. He did it and I swerved around the fire on the ground, grabbing him once more. I was bad at hand-coordination at the time, so I wasn't good at aiming my shot. However, by some insane luck, Bowser just *barely* hit a bomb and boom. That was it. The end. I was so happy and as a kid it felt like I just completed five long essays and got an A+ on both of them. Sorry for ranting, just this music immediately makes me remember the fight with every single detail.

This plays in my mind the second my math teacher says and i quote: "alright, im going to go around and grade your homework" *music plays* I cringe in fear as i had forgotten to do my homework the previous night. 0:20 music intensifies as my teacher is quickly moving from table to table grading everyone's work. I pray to god, she just skips over me and forgets. 0:52 She approaches my table... I feel the need to get up and run for my life straight out the door. she approaches me. by 1:20 She says: "Marcus, did you do your homework?' I just slowly turn my head towards her, and stare into her eyes for a few seconds. 1:50 I swear to god she has demon eyes at this point, and they're stealing my soul slowly. ...N-n-no?... She gives me a really disappointing stare. I just completely freeze. She walks away...finally...and i am finally releved.
