I will never stop being amazed by your runs. When I made the hack, it never crossed my mind that anyone would dare to beat it without savestates, let alone run it. When I see you get the high star in Toxic Terrace on your first try and I remember how much I struggled back in the day WITH savestates (and I just barely made it up there while you have so much time to spare), it's just jaw-dropping. "Fuck this star" - I agree. "Fuck this level" - I agree. (There are so many spelling errors in this hack. Embarassing) Since you talk about programming in this video, I really like programming in C# (Unity). You just don't have to care about much. My job is all C++ and the Win32 API. ...there are some depths I don't wish anyone to go to. So this is entirely deathless? Jesus... wow, you are a real beast. If I'm honest - if you were the only person to every play EE, it would have still been worth making the hack. What a mind-boggling run. Congratulations Has anyone finished 125 / 157 star runs deathless yet?

No, 125 star and 157 star haven't been done deathless, both because those runs are much more marathon-like than a quick 50 star run, and also because both of them involve an intentional death - even an ideal run wouldn't be deathless (because of that Toad underneath the temple in the third overworld). Doing this run deathless isn't the big achievement here by the way - I had a deathless a few years back that turned out to be a 35:XX. It's the strategies used to obtain the stars quickly, and not failing on things that aren't punished with death but would still yield considerable timeloss (such as that jump from the thwomp in Bowser Beautiful Backyard, for instance). Also, I feel sorry for you and what your job is. I've seen bits of Microsoft code... and chose not to work with if I can help it.

@@FramePerfection Of course, that OW3 Toad, yeah, makes perfect sense. That Thwomp jump in BBB really is a nasty one. As for my job - it's alright. I don't have to deal with Win32 all the time. But when I do, it sure is, ahem, "fun". Especially debugging when you have no clue where the messages came from. But I became a better programmer since I work there, so that's a plus.

I honestly think this is your most impressive run ever. In the beginning the pace seemed pretty normal, but then you just broke the game in half. The execution of insane strats in this run is just absurd.. Almost feels like I'm watching a singlestar compilation or something. Definitely the best speedrun I've seen all year, not even close.
