Super Mario Kodansha It's the earliest Mario manga, and it's notorious for being off the walls and a bit questionable in its material

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Miyamoto used this movie as a basis for Illumination's Mario movie. It follows a similar plot, but obviously a lot had to be changed for the new film: 1. As much as it's tradition for Peach to be the damsel in distress, it's brought down her character for too long. People wanted more from the Peach that fought off the koopas on the TV. 2. Mario and Peach aren't to be a thing, at least not yet. Bowser's still swooning for Peach as usual, and is just as much of a psycho as he was in the first film, if not more, but Mario's gotta calm it down. He's supposed to be our more sane hero, after all. 3. Remove Prince Haru and the wizard guy. They were only in this movie, and they never appeared in the games. Most people who saw the film, Japanese or not, are with differing opinions on Prince Haru in particular. 4. Luigi's personality has changed heavily since the first movie. Also, his colors are much different and established, too, after this movie. 5. Mario and Luigi are plumbers, not convenience store owners, although maybe it could have been a prior job to make ends meet. 6. The Mushroom Kingdom and power ups have to be modernized, since it's been so long since the first movie, so there's a lot more to work with. Including tying the Donkey Kong Country franchise with the film, and the Yoshi franchise, too.

you just uncovered a deep seeded memory in me, cause I forgot this was a thing until you showed it here. I think i must have seen it when i was way young cause i strangely remember this! also having rice suddenly appear next to you during a fight wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if you're hungry

Commenting here because this is currently your most recent video, which makes this comment more visible to you! I want to say thank you for giving me another great content creator whom I can genuinely enjoy putting on in the background to listen to. I found you last night through your Biker Mice From Mars video, then watched your Brave Little Toaster twofer, and I've been hooked all night and all through this morning. You've got a new faithful subscriber here, sir! You're handsome, well spoken, and genuinely funny and entertaining. 👍👍

This was probably the most entertaining ride I could get through this rushed "we gotta get an adaptation out for the publicity" movie. Mostly because it rightly gives Luigi his dues, I will always stan those who stan greatness.

Fun fact, at around 4:32 and almost immediately after you mentioned the movie sounding like you paid for a song at a 50s rockabilly bar, the actual lyrics are "Bishi-bashi rock and roll" with "bishi-bashi" being onomatopoeia for bouncing, jumping or just an implication of doing something with full force. You hit the nail right on the head.

Hey I just want to thank you for everything, found you again after a long time and just want you to know that you where the first ever channel I found and kinda obsesed over back in middle school (like 12 years ago) you got me into watching horror movies, both great ones and horrible ones, and I know I would not be the same person I am today without your content. (for better or worse)

I'm suprised how every single piece of media has a better a representation of Princess Peach than the recent movie.
@darklord884 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, considering SNL tried to parody Mario several times and most of those included Princess Peach, I would argue with "every."
