It’s eerie how the left hand notes keep chanting “dead, dead, dead, dead, dead.” The hidden messages and things you find in Nintendo music... wonder if it’s haunted in the same way as all the ghost level flagpole sections in 3D land. I mean, the same music was used for those levels. Is something-or someONE-trying to tell us something... or warn us? Or maybe cry out for help... existence as a ghost in a haunted house is a grim existence, to be sure. The sort of thing that might make you begin chanting “Dead, dead, dead, dead...” because all that’s left is death. Life no longer exists... all is DEAD. Anyway, on that bright note, I love the song! Thank you for making this! I still like these videos, even though I don’t play piano. ;D

It’s used in Ghostly Galaxy, Deep Dark Galaxy (Boo In A Box), and the ghost houses of Super Mario 3D Land. Additionally, a new arrangement appears as part of the ghost house theme in Paper Mario: Sticker Star and the song itself is a cover of Rico Harbor from Super Mario Sunshine.

It’s not a cover of Rico harbor? Also Rico harbor is a remix of Delfino plaza theme, which is the more recognized theme. But I don’t see how this even similar to waltz of the boos

Ever spot the World 4-4 Haunting? If you haven’t, you definitely should check it out. Tip: it isn’t just in World 4-4; it’s at the end of all the ghost house levels. If you can’t make it appear right away, try standing on the platforms in from to the flag, and watch the right hand side of the screen behind the fence.
