I’ve played Mario party with my mom since the original. Mom asked me “are you going to get the new one?” (Referring to jamboree) so this is definitely a day one purchase for me. And this will be the newest Mario party out before my child is born. Going to be special for sure!

Absolutely!! Pre ordered over a month ago. Mario party superstars was my first game and I played the heck out of it. Especially in matchmaking. Always wanted DLC for that game. So hopefully this one will have one.

Balancing for new players??? You don't water down a game for new players, that ruins games. You get thrown in the deep end and you either adapt or you don't. When we were kids when MP first came out on the N64 was it made to be balanced for young or new players? NO, it's a board game, you roll dice and move around and do what the game says to do.

One feature I wish I would implement with the Nintendo switch like all other consoles when you check for updates can't they just be a button that just go over and you just check everything on there and it just checks everything and updates everything instead of individually checking one at a time specially when you have like a 500 gig micro SD card 😢

I think Nintendo should have looked at Mario party 8 single player mode I think did it better in season ways. The it had u strategy and really use your brain while also completing conditions + had less cutscenes in between and was fairly quick
