Hey, I thought the internet was in its “start appreciating Mario Sunshine” phase? By the way, I have some advice for enjoying this game more. Do what I do: don’t play it. It became one of my favorites because I love the game for its beautiful aesthetics and amazing music. No idea what the gameplay is actually like, but the magical setting of Delfino Plaza probably brings me more joy than actually holding the controller would.

I didn’t really think about it until recently but Bowser Jr being shadow Mario was kind of a weird twist since sunshine was Jrs debut. That would be like if in a murder mystery the murderer was revealed to be some random guy who was never been seen in the movie prior and was not foreshadowed at all

Haven’t played it but by the looks and description your given it seems to be a “good general idea(s), bad execution”. When looked through that lens it seems odyssey was almost a do over, a second try, even down to the courses. Thanks for the vid
