Honestly, I have to say this kinda makes me hate the Super Metroid hacking community. While they do really cool stuff in terms of mechanics and other stuff... there's just not enough serious hacks out there to make me give a damn. Either they're too hard and expect expert level stuff, or they're troll/joke hacks like this.

Hyper Metroid, Ancient Chozo, Project Base, and Super Duper (lol) are all excellent "medium" difficulty hacks that take the game to a whole new level. But yes there's a lot of meme and bs "challenge" types too. No fun allowed I guess

@Ckosmick What I meant is the Metroid hacking community in general. There's way too many joke hacks in general especially for the Fusion and Zero Mission hacks. There are a few hacks I like and will play but overall I'm just tired of the troll hacks because FUSION BAD.

@Ckosmick I actually played Clean Station and Oil Spill. Those were pretty fun Fusion wise, though Clean Station had that... ending image... I was racing with some friends on that game and when I finished first I was like UMMMM GUYS...... and we were all sharing screens so yeaaaah haha... One of em was like WHAT THE HELL. But yeah personally I don't know why I specified Super Metroid hacking in my original comment, I might've just derped. I can get Fusion being hard to hack but ZM seems to be more like Super in the sense of no event system. Overall, I can't really get into hacks due to either being too difficult for me (I'm good at vanilla Metroid games, but sometimes needing to do certain techniques or havin' some BS pulled on me is what turns me away from hacks, alongside the joke ones) but it is cool to see certain hacks anyhow. I'd love to make my own hack but I just don't have the time for it honestly. And even then I'd love to maybe learn some 3DS stuff to maybe mod Samus Returns since I want to see some love given to that game, or even do/help with some translation projects since so many games havent been localized...

Ayo, the Space Pirates can KICK! _Hahahahahaha!_ 🤣 Straight up giving le BOOT! 👌 But for real, all jokes aside, I think THIS is what Federation Force should've been like: you and a few other players (max 3, maybe 4) dive into this planet, underquipped, you have to find things along the way, know to share the upgrades among each other, deal with not having some stuff unique to Samus _(like Morph Ball, Shinespark, maybe even High Jump)_ and basically do whatever the mission at hand is! _Invade and destroy a Space Pirate infested base?_ *Done.* _Locate and rescue a research team on a hostile planet?_ *Go for it.* _Rush to a facility's reactor and fix it before it blows up?_ *You got it.* _Locate and rescue some endangered wildlife from of a hostile enviroment?_ *Atta, lads.* I mean, I _guess_ you can keep the whole mecha thing, but I'd personally limit it to a few number of missions where they would be absolutelly necessary, like I dunno, bulldozing a Space Pirate base *located on the surface of an asteroid?* But the rest? It should be played like THIS!
