Super Moist Carrot Dates Cake

How to make a super moist and delicious Carrot & Dates Cake.
Here's what you'll need:
1 and 1/2 cup brown sugar (300g)
3 large eggs (room temperature)
3/4 cup sunflower or canola oil (185ml)
1/3 cup plain yogurt (90g)
2 tsp vanilla extract (10ml)
2 cups all purpose flour (250g)
2 tsp baking powder (10g)
1 tsp baking soda (5g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
2 cups grated carrots (220g)
1 cup chopped dates (130g)
1 cup chopped pecans and walnuts
FROSTING:
1 cup softened butter
3 cups icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract (5ml)
1 and ½ cup block cream cheese (340g)

Carrot cake is fast becoming my favorite cake. I used to go crazy for red velvet cake and thought I'd be loyal to it, but as I eat more carrot cake and bake more of it, it is now my favorite cake of all time! It has depth, substance, it has vegetable and nuts, for crunch and texture, and the dates addition just make it even more healthier. Thanks for the recipe! I decreased amount of sugar in both, the icing and the cake. my icing is not the same consistency as yours, but still works. did in heart shaped baking pan, lookes amazing
