I haven't watched your review as yet of the Husqvarna Norten 901 Expedition. As I'm sitting down having a coffee just hours away from heading up into the mountains above town were I use to ride my little KX 250 on a Sunday up in umunst all the forest & there trails. Only a few mountain tops away from where I once sat down & had a cup of tea with one of Australia's most wanted men. Malcolm Naiden. That had a half million dollar bounty apond his head. I was riding my Honda XR 600r on that day. My beloved 1999 KX 250 now sits in my bedroom for memorabilia due to a blown crank issue that hammeraged while I was back up there hunting for him only day's later. Now that's some 13 years ago. Now I see this incredible machine on the market & it's making me won't to get back out there on the back roads & discover what Australia has to offer me. At my age of 57 now I feel the 901 maybe the perfect bike for me before slowing down to a Harley Davidson or something?🤷‍♂️ The Honda Transalp maybe another choice in the mid size adventure bikes. Now to sit back & watch your review. 🙂 While I finish my cup of coffee. 🙂🇦🇺

@@lukefish7562 Hi, no problem and thanks for the reply. Good to hear that you like it a lot. Sold my bike this year because i can't park it anywhere. It was in a rented garage. This bike is pretty expensive here in the netherlands, 19200 euro! So i'am not in the market right now, unfortunately. But i think i will test ride it.

Yes I really appreciate your reviews. As you said not a journalist or a ex superbike rider, just a normal guy enjoying bikes in this life / and we get only one ☝️ I am just like you and will always be so, it’s in my blood. Might be very close age wise as well, I am 47 and you mate? I plan to buy this Norden exp next Spring or Summer, can’t wait, might even buy the standard Norden, depending on what kind of deal I run in to. But definitely the Husky Norden is my choice 😊

1300GS in my opinion has entered the hp race as per Ducati and KTM, which is not quite what I’m after in an adventure bike, so I might just say Norden on this choice
