Super old diesel train from Pula to Ljubljana in Slovenia

The train just left for Ljubljana from Pula. It's an interesting journey back in time. Perhaps one of the oldest trains in Europe.

You seem amazed because the train is running on diesel, but what kind of propulsion would you expect on a non electrified line? And yes, the train is old, but still very comfortable (more than the newer sets).

In 2023 I would expect a modern railway in Istria.
