In this video will be testing this 45 caliber airgun for its power against ballistics gel and some other interesting testing, medium! The Western Airguns Rattler .45 caliber long barrel truly is a monster! The accuracy this thing is capable of is second to none and the power is enough to take down whatever you want! Oh yeah, and it’s semi automatic! Everything about this is fantastic.

I’m thinking that for 3k, it should have a warranty longer than 12months.

Those guns are really fun until they break after around 6 months... I bought Western rattler 30 cal and really enjoyed it until it broke after 6 months... Never again will I buy a 3000 dollar airgun... Ridiculous!! I could buy a Ruger Blackhawk 357 , and a Daniel defense ar-15 that last forever for the price of that damn thing.. Don't get me wrong I really liked it. Just not a well built sound air rifle. Not worth it.. I like your videos tho. Do more penetration tests with the most powerful airguns..

I really appreciate your comment. What is this crap as far as a manufacturer making a piece of crap that cost $ 3,000. Sounds like a lawsuit is in the making. The other question is what failed? Was it due to faulty material or it was just cheap crap? I would definitely be beating the crap out of this company online. Have you filed a YELP review yet?

Sr, please, run the pinewood board test. You get like 15 pinewood boards 3/4 inches or 19.05mm and shoot them using calibers like 22, 25, 30, 35 and 45. Using diferente ammo weight and lets see how many pinewood boards we get through. Would be a whole lot of fun and subscribers are gonna love it.

what was the grain weight for the light and heavy lead you were shooting. i would not use pellets in such a airgun . only slugs. and is it .457 or .454 what is your opinion abot it

On the 196 grian, that's nothing but spin drift, causing piont of impact shift. Scope adjustment will deal with that.

💡 For those that don't know: Hollow points are designed to dump all of their energy within the target which is why they open up like a parachute catching the wind to slow down causing more damage, while the solid slugs are made for all out penetration to go deeper inside or through the target, so it does not matter what the slug weighs💥 So don't think that just because the heavier slug went all the way thru that It's "better" than the lighter hollow point, it just means that they are designed differently. Both of these slugs would have gotten the same results had they been the same weight as the other, if they were both hollow points then they both would have stopped, and if they were both solid then they both would have went clean through 👍 And let me reinterate before some jack🫏 that lacks compression skills starts taking💩, I said: FOR THOSE THAT DON'T KNOW!🫨 Outstanding demonstration as usual sir, just wanted to clear that potential misconception up👍👍👍

Out the box my sidewinder in 25 cal was pushing 34 grain slugs at subsonic speeds. Had to basically turn the reg down from 150 to 130 and turn the power wheel down 15 clicks just to keep it from pushing 28 grain pellets over 1000 fps. Gun is a monster. Before I re-tuned it, it was pushing a 48 grain slug 900 fps and I turned the power wheel up and 4 clicks and it pushed them around 930 fps so that's why I had to re-tune it down. Keep in mind I could have went up to 170 on the reg which came set on 150. Between 50-55 yrds, head shot on a deer using a 26 grain poly mag, told me all I needed to know !!! Deer got hit by a trk and couldn't get up and I didn't want to see it suffer throughout the nite, so I put it down and out of its misery.

You know how long I have been asking for this very Airgun . What i really need to know Brother is durability and air containment. I have been burned by AEA Bin Tac products and have had devastating failure on so many companies big bores that I am gun shy . I owned an LCS .30 cal for a bit and thought it was the best air rifle I had ever held. It never leaked air and I could put lead on top of itself at 250 yards. i know this is just an LCS ramped up but can you please inform me if this thing is worth $3000 ? I have yet to see any honest review on You tube because most are getting free guns and do not want to make the supplier mad . I just need to know if this thing will hold up to actual hunting unlike so many other brands that break or leak so bad no matter what you do that taking them hunting for big game is a scary proposition . Is this as good as it seems?

@@ShootingGearReviews I would have loved to read what you edited out of the message . I thank you for answering this . I have spent so much money on PCP rifles that are just hunks of junk that spending $3000 on one I have never held in hand is a lot for me to get past The Warden. As any women a man lives with sees you spend $5000 bucks over a couple of years and in return get nothing but failure and disappointment as a road we can no longer travel . If you get my drift. So talking the wife into another investment from the same family of air power products is my biggest obstacle now and I am still not sure how to get around it all to own one of these before deer season but your input here won't hurt that is for sure. I would love to pick your brain about these in a non public space to hear about the honest truth of these brands.
