I can’t believe how incredible this is, like how you beat Nick Bruiser for example. I've actually cheated and put Nick's health at 1hp, and have super punch on, he lets the first punch fly from you, and within a time frame, he will stay down from a super punch, if you battle his HP bar down quick enough

Just playing the regular Punch Out for fun I have picked up a lot of strategies that make it easier for me. I thought this game couldn't be much harder, and I can't even get past Piston Hurricane. You treat this game like it's Mario Stage 1-1 and it makes me sad lol

The thing that made this game easier for me was realizing that the default position is low block - piston hurricane will do his hurricane punches, so all you need to do is block high then low repeatedly. Kinda same for Aran Ryan.

It gives the Super meter a chance to catch up to where it should be. The punch right before that pause is enough to fill the meter, but until it finishes the fill-up animation he can’t throw super punches.

You can delay after you stun him and hook near the end of his dizzy (throwing only two punches, one after you dodge and one at the end of his dizzy) which does more damage as opposed to just punching him over and over PS. If you want you can watch the blindfolded MTPO fight at AGDQ, they talk a bit about sandman :)

This playthrough used no cheats. Each opponent can get dizzy if you hit them repeatedly & consecutively in a short period of time while they aren't stunned. If you time a very specific punch during their dizzy state, it will knock them down instantly.
