It only seemed like an odd question if you know all the rules. There are plenty of people watching, who aren't full on fans, who appreciate questions like that being asked. Rugby has many weird rules concerning the touchline. Some bare similarities to other sports and some are unique to rugby. Getting new fans means having people feel engaged with the sport and that is easier if people know the rules. It is a stretch to expect everyone to go out and buy a book on the rules, so often a "stupid" question does a world of good. I had one lecturer who was always asking stupid questions that she knew the answers to. It's not safe to assume someone is an idiot. They may very well be but there's a chance they know exactly what they are doing. Even if they don't, they won't be the only one who needs to hear the answer.

Easy tendency to gloss over some of the less than spectacular parts of his game after some great attacking runs, but in first half his tactical kicking was abysmal and he looked like he was in danger of choking. His kicks for touch were all over the place as well. That will kill the ABs at test level. Can't help but feel NZ just hasn't got a solid all around 10, with all 3 options having major weaknesses in their games.

Great game. McKenzie was on fire, really carried the Chiefs in the 1st half. You probably have a top AB team picking from just these two sides. Looked very close and a few reffing decisions one way or another and you get a different result. God knows how they awarded tries. I couldn't even see the ball in hand on the last one :)

A good performance from dMAc dispite being ruthlessly targeted by the saders at times be got dominated missed tackle on lester led to an early try and threw a loose pass off a wrap got rushed by ennor. But showed resilience and got back to his best in the second half and stamped jos mark on the game to help the chiefs win it

dmac seems to have the best passing game in NZ, his running game is pretty obvious. But the passes he throws are something else. Kicking for goal has been a bit inconsistant so far but he should iron out those issues he's generally just as good as Richie or Jordie
