@@JaemanEdwards ....I get your optimism but for a coach to win a major championship of any kind they must have the rare ability to get that last 5-10% out of each player and the team as a whole. That's the difference between a team that does well and a team that wins. Look at Todd Blackadder, by all accounts a great player and a great guy, but in 9 seasons could not win a championship. Robertson comes along, immediately wins the following year and has won a whole bunch of them in a row ever since. Winners tend to win !

The only 2 sides possibly viable to compete with those in the NH out of NZ and Australia, Crusaders and Chiefs. I think they have more tougher sides up in NH. That said, the SA sides are doing well in the URC and have won it in their 2nd season. So perhaps I am underestimating the Kiwi and Aussie sides, I dunno.

How is he going to safe them? There is no way the AB'S are going to handle the macro packs of France, Ierland or South Africa. You can't play touch rugby season after season and expect to have the battle hardened forwards to take on the best packs in the world. It is a very big problem for New Zealand to overcome and it will only get bigger as time goes on. Without Whitelock and Retallick New Zealand has nothing in the lock department. Barret is 1,97 and only 111kg. If he is the future of New Zealand rugby at lock they better start looking at other ways to win balls from setpieces. This touch rugby style might work in Super Rugby where everybody plays touch rugby but at international level they are going to get murdered up-front.

This is what a team really looks like when they have a winning coach. Having struggled all season to field a full strength team due to injuries, they still manage to make it happen when it counts with whatever respurces they have available at the time. It'll be interesting to see what he can do with the All Blacks once the current incompetent coach finishes embarassing the nation with a poor showing at the RWC and starts to rebuild the once mighty All Blacks back to the high standards of exellence they used to be known for. The thing about winners is that they tend to win.

Yo man, Foster has tried his absolute best in the position he has been put in. Knocked around by COVID, finding issues, NZRU mismanagement and still manages to be in top 3 in the world? Poor form, mate. Ian Foster is an All Black legend, and has a hell of an engine as a coach. I couldn't be more proud of his time in the hot seat. Proved the world wrong, and did it with a hand tied behind his back. Comments like these embarrass me as a supporter of our All Blacks. No shame. I expect better from a fellow supporter.

I’m also fairly certain they’ve changed the law relating to TMO checks, that can’t be avoided by simply rushing a conversion. Don't despair as a Blues supporter I am a Crusaders man living in Auckland,please understand a performance like that was always on the cards,from a bigger picture view,we still have a team good enough to win RWC,one poor performance doesn't erode class,Talea,Barrett,Both Ioanes,BUT not Sitotu,are still class.But whatever happens next week Crusaders without,Grace,Newell,Bower,Moody,Whitelock,Blackadder,Reese,& Havilli may have shown what team work can achieve

The Blues front row is over rated, Beauden Barrett doesn't fire in the big games, Caleb Clarke is one of the laziest wingers in super rugby. This Blues outfit have been pretenders that they are a top super team under Leon McDonaild.

Clarke's not lazy, he's just not getting the ball & when/if he does get it it's the worst timing. When he's free & wide open the team just want to run into the wall, meanwhile the wingers are free. Beauden's the only one who can read it & he kicks it out to them. The Blues passing has been shocking! Zahn Sullivan needs to stop trying trick passes, especially playing the Saders! Can't afford to lose the ball!

That was a class performance by a well drilled team. Will be interesting to see how they go next year without Razor. This was the crusaders 2nd 15 and still Razor can bring out a winning team. Are the Blues really that bad. Don't mind if they lose but not without a fight. On that performance, none of them should be All Black's.
