First time I watched rugby in the World Cup 1995. I was mesmerised by lomu. He was a superhero for me. Simply a super star.

Wilson was the man. What you on about/ the only other back 3 I can think of is Kahui , Mils , and Cory Jane was it? RWC2011 anyway .

@@FKTHESYSTEM063 no he wasnt. He was a glory boy. Cory jane was the man. Best fend in the game.

@@mrb5760 All because of that Gregan tackle eh? Jeff could chip chase. Faster than the rest. Step left / right. Fend both hands and kick . At that time that was rear. Yeah a show pony but that doesn’t mean he’s useless 🤔. Cullen the Best 15 ever but didn’t have a kick game. Just because he didn’t have that part of the game takes noting away from what we know him as. Best 15 ever from pure attacking flair .

South Africans rugby fans often brag about Jonah Lomu being unable to score a try against the Springboks. The message from the big winger after their 12-3 Tri-Nations win on Saturday was that he didn't have to score to beat the Springboks. All he has to do is prevent them from scoring. Lomu, often lambasted for his defence, brought off two try-saving tackles on winger Dean Hall and veteran lock Mark Andrews. Isn’t it the South Africans who brag about ‘defence wins games?’
