What a coincidence! I got back from China on the 25th. Close call for my Brumbies boys. (Damn! I didn't make it to the TAB.) A few teams now have key players out for extended periods with injury. Interesting to ponder the effect for the rest of the season.

The Canes were in devastating form against the Highlanders. I taught Billy Proctor when he was 8 (actually coached a touch team he was a member of, didn't really need to do much coaching) great kid and fantastic seeing him grow up to be the player we all knew he'd be. Glad to see him and the Canes doing so well - maybe this is there year. Cheers mate.

@@Marius_vanderLubbe Yeah you´re right man, URC is just so amazing. South Africa with its massive population has concentrated its prowess into just 4 clubs of amazing power and skill, the best of which sit only 3rd on the table. How many super rugby champion titles have SA clubs won in 28 years? ONE. Couldn´t hack the pace so they went North - fair enough i say.

Most of the games went the way I thought except for the Chiefs game. However I agree that the Chiefs loss can’t be blamed on the absence of DMac - Josh Jacomb actually had a good game. I think the Crusaders just played well and turned it on for their home crowd. Was pleased to see my Canes keep up their form against the Landers - although losing Roigard was a heavy price to pay. But as you said they have a bit of depth in the squad and Perenara has been making the most of his time on the field.

Good to see some parity here in this round, Chiefs definitely were missing Dmac in that Crusaders loss. Rebels clearly playing for their season and time in SR that it would be disappointing if they fall out of the top eight since they're gonna need it. And pleasant travels to China, I'll be looking forward to your other channel for uploads. 😊

Yeah awful news with the injuries, 6 months was the estimate for Roigard which is rough given he'd have been looking to really challenge for the starting 9 spot with the ABs
