lol true, I just checked and he says gambare (do your best) but even english subtitles got "How about don't lose". Then "Yeah, that's right" which was a reply to Goku's complaint that it was not advice was replaced with "Yeah, you're on your own". Because of such changes people think that Vegeta character regressed from Buu saga when in fact he is a friend to Goku but he is still cheeky in responses.

It took me some years, but I think I finally understand why Hit is able to man handle Vegeta so well with his precision fighting style (ignoring Hit's Time Skip ability). It's like attacking a knight between the armor (in this case, the vital spots). Super Saiyan Blue has high durability enhancement like Super Saiyan God, but if your vitals are targeted you'll still take damage as your body is getting disrupted. Vegeta (and by extension Goku) is far stronger and more durable than Hit in Super Saiyan Blue, but by attacking the vitals that durability is drastically broken down and minimizes the power gap. That said, even Hit noted how Vegeta was able to take so many of Hit's attacks and live, which is attributed to Super Saiyan Blue's durability enhancement through the God Ki. Without that Vegeta would have been dropped near immediately. In a street brawl style fight, Hit would lose. But Hit's precision style is something completely different from any other fighter in the entire series. Quite honestly they have never needed to protect their vital points before against anyone that wasn't directly susceptible to a punch or kick. One last thing, Hit's Time Skip ability is closer in nature to Guldo's from the Ginyu Force, as opposed to Whis's, but on a much more powerful scale.

Properly analyzing the finer details as to why Hit can do what he does against it, when next to nobody else should be able to even harm someone in that form due to the durability boost, is what I was getting at. Besides, it's not like I was in a lab rewatching this over and over again or anything. Its been years since I last watched it.

People always forget about Guldo, from the Ginyu Force. Powerful for his time on Namek, and could freeze time for way longer than 0.1 seconds by holding his breath. I like to think Hit is the parallel version to Guldo in Universe 6.

Its not as much as Goku one upping Vegeta, it was only that Goku was told about time skipping before even fighting Hit . Goku also watching Vegeta fight Hit first helped Goku learn how Hit fights . So Goku really got a MAJOR advantage going into the fight with Hit . Vegeta not knowing about time skipping was the main reason he lost .

People are ignoring that Goku got a free chance to analyze Hit's style while Vegeta fought him. Vegeta was the sacrifice. If Goku was first, he would have also lost because he wouldn't have had time to figure out it was a time skip (talking to others in the stands).

Everybody surprised how Vegeta lost so quickly to hit. Keep in mind, he's gone up against Frost, Magetta, and Cabba so he's exhausted. Not only that, but transformations use up energy and he turned ss blue to show cabba but quickly powered down so that took it out if him more. Then there's Hit himself, no pushover by any means.

Saying Vegeta was exhausted after those 3 matches is a stretch but it would have made absolutely no difference if Vegeta had been fully fresh. The reason Goku wasn't defeated as easily is because Goku literally got a hint of Hit's time skipping technique after witnessing how Hit was attacking Vegeta with it: Vital points. He tested Hit and realize Hit was deliberately attacking his vital points to maximize every attack and Goku decided as a counter measure to lure Hit into attacking exposed vital parts and protect himself a tenth of a second before Hit's time skip.

Vegeta was using his blue form which takes huge amount of energy and we cannot forget that his vital organs where attacked by hit and before that he had already defeated 3 opponents especially magneta had drained a lot of energy from vegeta that's why he was defeated easily

To be fair, Goku had a chance to see some of Hits abilities watching Vegeta's fight first. If it were the other way around, I think Vegeta would've been able to counter Hit to some degree. Not saying he would've won, but I I think he'd do a lot better.

Yha hit is cool is is like what piccolo and pikkno used to be just pure badass. Also when he came out everyone was hyped and wish japan would make he's jacket a real life thing. But yha this is why vegeta shouldn't act how he was and this is why he never wins being a hero and keeps wondering why goku wins on the finishing blow. Goku observer the fight and Hit fighting style and not only that but Goku is a genius when it comes to fighting. Where we have seen the time skip before wasn't Wise, it was Gordo in the Ginyu Force. He would hold his breath and stop time and move to a different location. The reason Vegeta is doing poorly against Hit is because he’s tired, Goku and Vegeta are at the same level of power in Blue. At this point in the story ssj blue is a very exhausting transformation to get into, and in the last episode Vegeta turned blue against Cabba and than turned it off, making him tired from the transformation, and then went blue again against Hit, but Vegeta is tired off of the previous transformation to blue, he wasn’t at full strength.
