This Form and Super Saiyan God gives me such mixed feelings. I like Super Saiyan God but both Forms don't feel that impressive when power scaling is so inconsistent.

Righto. Imo, Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego should have been Goku and Vegeta's own version of SSJ God. Like, SSJ God: Angel or SSJ God: Destroyer. SSJG and its variants are kinda throw away, general purpose super Saiyan forms now. If they're gonna slap "God" on the transformation name, it needs to be treated as such

I think MUI and UE should be an extended version of SSG exactly like you said. Otherwise they would throw away super saiyan which doesn't make sense at all considering it is natural for a saiyan to draw out power by transforming into a ssj. Like why would ue vegeta have purple hair when it is no ssj? The color swap defines the ssj. What even is ssj when ue changes hair color but isn't a type of ssj. It has to be. And MUI Goku has the same hair like in SSG mode (in top manga version even a similar body type)

My problem with this form and ssg is that it never got any major win, so it felt underwhelming and more like a “catch up” form rather than a power up. To me, it felt like “this is the new power scale, so let’s give them a new form so they can fight on that level” rather than “this is an evolution of their previous power” and the reason i think this is is because these forms never got to dominate a major villain. And the fact that for the majority of super goku and vegeta never really “won” against their opponents also added to the feeling these forms were underwhelming.

I just wish Super Saiyan God got more time. It had potential but then they released Blue so soon. I feel like the proper way to introduce Blue was to have some time before it was even seen. Give us Little hints of a form beyond Super Saiyan God and when the time is right introduce Super Saiyan Blue.

It is said Super Saiyan God is stronger than less than 10% strength of Super Saiyan Blue in the DBS manga. So, Super Saiyan Blue is the very least 10 times stronger than Super Saiyan God.

No that’s was Vegeta weakened SSB state which was about 10%, which would make SSG over 10%. Full power SSB is somewhere around 5-10x stronger than SSG, but the anime version is weaker than its manga counterpart

Im pretty sure ssb is 50x stronger then ssg no? cause it just going ssj as a ssg that makes ssb. My head canon is that since they have God ki at this point they don't need to go into ssg and can simply go ssj as they tap in to God ki to go ssb if they don't then it's just regular ssj.

I think that the power increase after God run out was just temporary and that was Goku's body adjusting to the form which eventually (after training) he could activate on a whim. It's not like his base power increased that much and we can just stack up multipliers on that. That would be pretty stupid, especially considering that the power boost would be much bigger than that of SSJ3 and Goku's body was unable to withstand such a power boost for long periods of time before. This would be much bigger and permanent boost which he could further increase by his forms. This just does not add up. Well, I guess Super's (including "Z's" BoG and RoF) powerscaling is pretty idiotic, so it does not really have to make sense.

I do kind of feel bad for Super Saiyan blue ever since we got the introduction of it during the resurrection of f. And the form itself was supposed to be a very powerful transformation that surpassed Super Saiyan God, but in both the Manga and the anime it seems that become somewhat degraded during its introduction. If Z Goku had discovered beforehand, let's say for example during the Buu saga, I believe both he and Vegeta would have found a way to have surpassed it long before beerus and whis had arrived. Given it that powerful presence that Super Saiyan 4 had when he first saw it during Dragon Ball GT.

Ki attacks always boost power, as Raditz noted that Goku and Piccolo were getting so much stronger while charging. This is applied retroactively, and it's applied spottily at best for the rest of the franchise. Originally, it seemed this was an Earth and maybe Namek only thing, since Raditz was surprised, as was the fact that they could raise their battle power at will. But that quickly changed when the likes of Ginyu could also do it, and it just sort of fell by the wayside after that.

I got a question. Why do we use SSJ3 Goku's power to calculate Vegeto's? He HAS to be in base form to fuse, otherwise they'll be stuck in SSJ forever. Is it because without this, Vegeto ends up weaker than SSJ3 Goku? In which case, wouldn't increasing the Fusion multiplier to be higher than SSJ3's make more sense than using SSJ3's power?

I'd have honestly rather have seen Goku and Vegeta take SSG on as his permanent base form (they absorbed God Ki so it would have made sense) then SSB just being the natural progression from SSG via training after losing the ability to control SSJ with god Ki. UI and UE would still be a completely separate thing but could only be attained after mastering God Ki

I'm curious. In GT, there was a scene where Goku gets energy transferred from four other saiyans. The ceremony for SSG takes five, but if Vegeta had helped as well instead of being the bad guy at the time, we can assume that Goku would have gained the SSG form by accident. But he was in SSJ4 at the time, so I am curious what kind of form you think this would have created and how that power level might have faired against Beerus when he eventually showed up.

I dont think your metric for the vegito multiplier is accurate 1. It doesnt really make sense especially since they're in their base 2. The anime only filler where vegito fights buuhan, buuhan at the end of the skirmish smirks and reveals he was just toying with him and vegito reciprocates implying he knows buuhan wasnt even trying he then ofc goes super saiyan and absolutely bodies buuhan, I think Goku (base)+ vegeta (base) x100 is far more accurate

I keep thinking Beerus constantly getting stronger is directly linked to the mortal level of his Universe. As those in his Universe gain power so does he to ensure the G.o.D always has the power to keep the Universe in check. That's why the weaker gods in the T.o.P ark are significantly weaker than Beerus except for Belmod. The Universe's that were not included were known to have a higher mortal level and with that even stronger gods, and even stronger angels to keep them in line. That's the only way I can make sense of Beerus keep getting stronger, the power granted to him as a destroyer. When he retires he will relinquish that power and pass it to a new G.o.D that will then have the same power plus any additions with mortals rising power.

The current SSJ1 form is not 50x base as the 50x multiplier referred to grade 1 SSJ. ALL saiyans eventually learned and mastered grade 4. This means the base SSJ1 multiplier is likely closer to 300x as a grade 1 vegeta in the cell saga was equal to android 18 but a grade 4 vegeta in the Cell saga would destroy 18 as he was significantly stronger than 2nd form Cell who greatly overpowered 17 and 18. That said.... Super completely broke the SSJ multiplier by having the saiyan base form catch up to it significantly. Based on the fights we see of saiyans using base and then powering up for SSJ1 or 2 in the same fight, its likely safe to assume that SSJ1 (grade 4) is basically 2x base form in the current Dragonball super story where SSJ2 would be 4x base.

Nothing makes sense anymore. Power scaling in DB has not made any sense for a long time {Especially in DBS}. As much as I enjoyed the Cell saga (Gohan is my favorite Character and ssj2 was fun)... Dragonball as a whole should have ended with Goku turning super saiyan 1, killing Frieza, and dying with planet Namek.
