Blurr was restored off-screen in a comic book involving Sari that's based after the end of the series. And that red bot with the monotone voice was Perceptor, an Autobot scientist. An out-of-universe detail is that they used a voice-generation program to voice him, stating he deleted his emotions to make more room for information, thus making him more "robotic" even by Cybertronian standards.

The fact that Sari was a Protoform Human/Cybertronian hybrid blew my mind and added many layers to her character. It's truly a shame the show never got a Season 4 because we don't really get an explanation of how Dr Sumdac got possession over a Protoform, but nevertheless, seeing Sari get a major upgrade and grow up a few years into what looks to be a teenager was so crazy to see and really love her suit design and seeing her finally get a chance to join the fight as part of the was pretty rewarding. A lot of people forget just how dark this show can be, showing genetic mutilation and dismemberment, showcasing severe PTSD and actual death, and Shockwave just straight up crushing Blurr to death like that was DROPPING. What is even more vile is how he had to add insult to injury by throwing his crushed body in the trash. I also like how Ratchet's failure to save Arcee's memory and his connection to Omega Supreme are interconnected. The fact that the Autobots were forcibly keeping Arcee alive despite losing her memory and pulling apart her circuitry is honestly really messed up. You can tell Ratchet feels like he owes it to himself not to let another friend down because of him, which is why he cares so much about Omega. Omega seems less like a weapon and a gentle giant like the Iron Giant. I love how Ratchet truly showed his value as a member of the team and I really love how much this version of Ratchet refuses to let the unthinkable happen, even if its impossible, like any good doctor would I love that Season 3 opening scene and how you can recognise many classic Transformers characters, such as Hot Rod, Cyclonus, Blackout, Oilslick, Hotshot, Red Alert, Brawn, Ironhide, etc. I also thought Megatron and Starscream's constant bickering was hilarious as if they were an old married couple.

Fun fact, according to one of the handbooks for this series, Cyclonus is from the future where Megatron has become Galvatron, as in G1, and has somehow ended up in the past; all his teammates think he's slightly insane due to some of the odd things he says, but he's just talking about future events.

Fun fact hotshot and red alert were originally planned to be apart of the main team but thanks to the 07 movie and getting some lost trademarks back they were swapped out for bumblebee and ratchet partially to better synergies with the movie and partially to make sure they never loose the trademarks again

Yes, yes it was the best premier ever. I remember back when it first aired I didn't even know there was gonna be a season 3 because Cartoon Network didn't advertise it at all and it came on at like 6 in the morning. I just happened to turn it on the morning it asked and got hit with all these twists at once. So much plot, getting to see Team Chaar and Rodimus, Hot Shot, Red Alert and all that, Sari's upgrade (helping to solidy her the as the best and most interesting human teammate the franchise ever had (and one of the only human Transformers ever), her tragedy with Bumblebee, Ratchet's flashbacks putting into context the iffiness of the Autobot government, and everything else about this just made it such an incredible morning to see for the first time. "He kinda reminds me of Bee a little bit..." That's who would have had Bumblebee's role in the show if they hadn't put Bumblebee in the show after the movie used him XD if I remember they actually did make a toy for Animated Hot Shot that never got put into stores. I think the one you think is Scourge is Cyclonus ^_^ in supplemental materials they talk about how he's expecting a judgement day or something like that that's approaching (likely Unicron given what he comes from in the original show) Oil Slick, the guy that infects Rodimus with Cosmic Rust, actually had a run in with Ratchet during the war which was detailed in one of the comics. For the guy with Ultra Magnus in the flashbacks that's Highbrow, the main intelligence officer at the time, who mysteriously went missing before Longarm Prime took over that position. Blurr technically comes back in a comic type thing after the series ended but he's essentially dead at this point. And as for Sari, this is the most they really elaborate on about her. They said they'd have gone more into her origins in Season 4 but, obviously, they got canceled before they could do that. The theory I've always had is that Sari either has something to do with Vector Sigma or is Vector Sigma in some form.

Sari's robo form I still think is so slick and well! Not too much while not too little. And with the ability to make any kind of weapon, and the maneuverability she has is so dope!

The Autobot at 38:52 was Alpha Trion. Also their were more bots like Omega Supreme but they all died or were so wounded that they were put into modified stasis like Omega. For instance, Ultra Magnus was bonded to a Omega Sentinel named Sigma Supreme he was wounded and put into Stasis, his vehicle form is the Elite Guard flagship Steelhaven.

One thing That I know about the canceled season 4 was that they were going to do an episode based on the comic miniseries Shattered Glass. This show an alternate universe where the Autobots are the bad guys and the Decepticons are the good guys. It was planned that Sari and Bulkhead would end up there by accident. On detail of design I saw was for the evil Optimus Prime he would have a beard like Spock in the Star Trek episode Mirror, Mirror.

That Autobot that’s working on Omega Supreme is Perceptor with the digital voice. He’s basically a scientist and the Shockwave of the Autobots with his intelligence he more so stays behind the field lines Soundblaster is a Deception/Soundwave Clone which Soundwave Clone similar to how Bug Bite being a Bumblebee Clone built from the same kind of T-cog or Shell but usually Soundblaster is more or less a Pirate or has his own legion that does pillaging of other planets

That is indeed Alpha Trion. In this continuity, billions of stellar cycles before the Decepticon movement had even been conceived, Alpha Trion fought in countless Cybertronian battles. He is, perhaps, the oldest Transformer anybody knows. These days, however, Alpha Trion is just a civilian, serving as the head of the Guilds Domesticus in the Autobot High Council. In this role he presents a constant challenge to Sentinel Prime, reminding the arrogant Elite Guardsman that the Guild is in charge of the military, and not the other way around. Sentinel disagrees with the ancient bot, feeling that he's simply been out of combat for too long to be relevant.

Yeah this was a great episode nice development for Sari and the bots it was great seeing ironhide brawn red alert and hotshot good to see some of the old gang from g1 and armada again plus its quite interesting what sari is plus its good she patched things up with her dad plus I think its interesting now that the Team isn't keeping secrets anymore I wonder if team prime had a similar chat post dark mount about no longer keeping secrets from each other I wonder what the cons will do now since there og plan failed its great the sundac senior got his company back plus with Sari's new ability's she is now even more capable then miko with the apex armor and we haven't seen techno organics since the beast era of transformers and don't worry about blur I figure they will find a way to fix blur like they did omega supreme plus starscreams little call back to season 1 with the all spark was nice

Those Asteroid Monsters are the same look from Ben 10 and Rodimus Prime is voiced by the same person who voiced him in the G1 Movie and series, and that is none other than, Judd Nelson (also from The Breakfast Club). The same is true with Blurr and Grimlock in this series/universe being voiced by their original actors in G1.

So from i read on blackout in animated he was part of the heavy brigade squad that specializes in taking down omega sentinels like Omega Supreme infact the elite gaurd ship is also a omega sentinel Blackout is only surviving member of that team he is powerful enough to take on a omega sentinel 1v1 he actually took down 3 before he was heavily damaged by the last one so Blackout is a force to be reckoned with.

To answer your question yes Shockwave is a Menace in every series because of his intelligence lol Heck some iterations actually say he’s so intelligent that Megatron fears him because he knows that Shockwave if he could outsmart him but luckily Shockwave is more so very devoted to the cause but if Megatron somehow died naturally he’d assume control over the Decepticons

Spoilers for Season 4 plans (that never aired) Come back to this comment (preferably) after finishing animated. . . . . . . . . . . . . . My summary of the Allspark Almanac's info on Cyclonus: Cyclonus is apparently from the future, and is highly indifferent to everything around him, he does not even react to Rodimus Prime. He appeared out of nowhere and in pieces, a Decepticon medic named Scalpel took the undertaking of repairing him. Cyclonus kept muttering a name that Scalpel did not recognize. Scalpel also discovered that Cyclonus had a advanced transwarp link to a *limitless energy source* and that his personality had been tampered with. Once repaired Cyclonus swore allegiance to Megatron, but in abstract. He carries out orders without an ounce of joy or sadness or anger... There's no point after all. MY MOST WANTED PART OF SEASON 4 There were plans for a flash forward episode where Sari would encounter the future ruler of Cybertron, and he is the one who Cyclonus muttered about when he was found... Galvatron!
