You may want to check the vent tube from your dryer. I think they say we need to change them out every so many years , I can't remember how many. That might help with so much of the fluff bunnies . lolol

I found that once I started using a small amount (1/4 cup) of vinegar as softener (i found it on a UK cleaning page, it does not leave a smell but performs the same function) and switched to powdered tide, my washer no longer gets slimy or musty. I can even leave the clothes in for a day or longer and they don't get musty. It's a top loader with the thing in the middle like in this video. Since using the vinegar theres no longer any gunk and it's been over a year.

I love watching this type of content at night when I’m relaxing and having “me” time. My husband is military and goes in super early and comes home aroud 5 or so. As such, I’m the home maker. But, my personal relax time is at night as I help manage my grandma, shop groceries, do DIY around the house / yard, and clean my home. We don’t have kids (in my 40’s now and we understand that God has bigger plans than children for us), so I try to take pride in our home and ensure it’s clean and sorted. I just stumbled upon your channel and am pleased to hear soothing music, your calm voice, and thorough cleaning! I noticed your laundry detergent container is misshapen, so if you release the top cap a bit the air won’t create a vacuum. The detergent will flow more easily.

Hi Jenny! I pulled out my dryer last night to clean behind it. One thing I always do is take that foil corrugated tubing and unscrew it from the dryer. I was pulling out blankets of lint from that thing! It is a huge collector of lint and fire hazard. My long lint brush also helped to clean that tubing out. Just wanted to share that tip! Im glad that you cleaned your washer and dryer. I would check lint catcher and behind the dryer at least 1x a month! Im in an apt and people are always catching apt on FIRE because of this and leaving something on or in the stove! Its TX what can I say!!LOL This was very satisfying and made me go check mine! Hi Jenny!! Thank you for this wonderful deep cleaning video! It definitely has motivated me to tackle my laundry room next. This past week, I finally figured out how to remove the toilet seat fully from the toilet to do a deep clean, and let me tell you... IT WAS GROSS. My husband was shocked and disgusted considering it may not all be from us (previous tenants). It feels so good to be able to do those deep cleans! :)

The fire hazard is in the vent hose. Disconnect the hose use the vacuum or a leaf blower to clear the buildup in the hose. 👍👍💕

Every six months, I clean out the vent hose to free it of all the built up lint. I also clean out the vent hole on the wall. It was amazed at how much lint came out the first time I did this! I'm surprised previous tenant did not have a fire!

Hi! Thank you for the video. It’s really motivating. You used vinegar to sanitize your washing machine. I’m from Finland and vinegar is big hit here. Lot of people, myself included, use that as softener! I have used that for few years now and I couldn’t be happier. It keeps my washing machine perfect and I love that my clothes doesn’t smell strong (I think shop bought softeners are too strong). Some people buy bottle of vinegar and add 10-15 drops of scented oil ( lemon, lavender etc.)

If you have this much lint in your laundry room, you better have someone come out and check your vent and pipe. The house we bought had lint packed to the point it was like concrete!

Ever considered cutting a long wooden board the length and width of that wire shelf in your laundry room then painting it all white back and front then placing it on top of the wired shelf? That way it will be easier to clean and things won't fall through it. Just a little idea.❤️👍🤗 just take the dimensions over to Loews or Home Depot they will cut it there for you. Oh by the way the laundry room looks awesome!! The washer and dryer look like new again! I betcha it smells so good in there too!😋
